  1. Under the "Forums" section. Open that up and go down to the- For Sale / WTB/ Want to trade section. You can then post a WANT TO BUY - WTB add, or search for what anyone has for sale at the moment. welcome.
  2. You can ne'er have enough RO/DI , and saltwater on hand - IMO If you could have 50% ready made saltwater and 50% RO/DI water ready I think you can handle most reeding issues besides a broken tank. IMO.
  3. Ummmmmm........it is just a tank (or a couple) in a room..............I have never done this before, but mankind has been there. But, thanks for the vote of confidence!
  4. My kids just bought a hamster........he's kinda cool......runs on his wheel like 5 miles a night....I am not kidding.
  5. Yea, it is about time, but it is a ton of work.
  6. Very cool! How big are they? How many are there? Are any of your other fish bugging them?
  7. Lookin' good! I like the darker look on the stand.
  8. So......Rob- zygote2k ( the aquarium plumbing master) and I were at it again for about 4 hours of plumbing and we got the QT frag tank full of water and it is running. Main frag tank is being filled, and we have most of the plumbing for the main tank done. We are just figuring out all the details for the plumbing off the manifold for the: UV filter, Biopellet reactor, calcium reactor, skimmer intake, and chiller.
  9. Rob (zygote2k) will be @ my house in 5 min to work on my tank. He is highly recommended. Where are you located? Not sure how far he will go for a one time cleaning.
  10. Thank you very much for the fix! I needed that!
  11. I have been self employed for 26 years so I hope it does continue! I really do want, and like the input. Positive or negative, I have learned so much from everyone that has already done this and is willing to put their two cents in. I really appreciate it! If someone thinks I am doing something wrong, or am going to have a problem I would love to hear it before I do something wrong and have to learn the hard way.
  12. Beautiful! What are the blue zoas in the last set of pics......I might need those;)
  13. Thanks for your input. I work from home so the lyretail I have right now gets fed 4-6 times a day in small amounts. I am not planning on adding them all at once, over about a year. I have a large skimmer and have options on another if I need it. Planning on exporting nutrients with a fuge of cheato, going to be running a 114w UV sterilizer, will be running a bio pellet reactor later, (3) 7" x 16" filter socks, and I have a Reef Genesis system for constant water changes. Obviously it will all depend on how the parameters are going before I add more fish at each phase. I will just have to see how it goes
  14. Might have to revisit the list for some flame wrasses........ At the moment here is my Anthias list. I hear the Ventralis are hard to take care of, but are beautiful. Should I substitute the Bartlett's for the Resplendent? 3-Ventralis Anthias (Pseudanthias ventralis) 5-Resplendent Anthias (Pseudanthias pulcherrimus) 5-Fathead Sunburst Anthias (Serranocirrhitus latus) 4-Indian Ocean Lyretail Anthias (Pseudanthias squamipinnis) Now if I just had a way to automatically feed them so they would be well fed.....any ideas?
  15. Yea, there is a little bit of everything there. I look at it as a diary of tank adventure. I go back and look thing up all the time.
  16. That stock stand is scary!!!! I have never seen one, it looks like it wants to tip over, or one bump and you are done! Based on those facts, your stand looks tons better, structurally and aesthetically.
  17. More open space!!!!!!!
  18. Keep away from my barrel this weekend you Graffiti Monster! And no turning it into a still
  19. I love the cantilever........personally it is a very nice choice. Your cabinet work looks awesome! A couple questions- Looks like a glass tank since the edge of the tank look greenish. I believe the strength of the glass tanks is when they are supported on the edge not on the middle of a pane of glass. Any worried about cracking it with the weight? What is the tank volume and the thickness of glass so some of the engineers on here can give you the OK. IMO Artistically you get a 100%!!!!!
  20. Just got back from Lowe's with the remaining fittings for Rob this weekend. Come on.......do you think it takes a lot of time to search "world's largest suitecase"? There are times where I have to sit in front of the computer and field emails and calls, when I don't have either I click over to WAMAS.
  21. OK, that makes sense. I guess I need to change the set up (which I will be doing shortly with my new 165g container). Thanks for the info, learned something new today.....Ok I learned a few things.
