  1. Piece of advice: get the clown out first if he's hosting, otherwise you'll get pecked at the entire time. As far as the nem, if its on a rock, see I he'll let you have the entire rock. If not, use nitrile or latex gloves and just nudge the foot and see if you can get it to release, it try blowing a powerhead at it for a bit and it will "probably" move and you can get it then.
  2. Just wanted to send a SO to Ecotech for a recent event. My Mp10es (non-wireless) pump went nuts and started cycling on and off and no resets would fix it so I called and they said to send it back. It shipped out on Thurs and was supposed to be here yesterday but as they had an incident where someone changed the delivery at one time and stole a bunch of pumps, it went out as signature required and no delivery modification allowed by recipient. I didn't realize it until after the attempt had been made and I called Ecotech back. Well, I was probably not the nicest person they'd ever spoken to (which I did feel bad about but I really need my pump back) and had it explained what the policy was. The person on the phone talked to one of his managers and after about 15 minutes of talking (well, me complaining) and waiting, he came back and made me a deal. My pump would be returned to them and yesterday he'd build an MP10esW (yes I got the wireless upgrade) and ship it out yesterday for arrival on Monday)! Now other places claim (and I've even sent an email to Avast when I saw something that would help them on another board and never even received an acknowledgement from them) to have good customer service but frankly Ecotech's is the best I've ever seen in a large company. Now to me their pumps are worth the price since they treat their customers this way. I'll definitely by Ecotech again and hope this helps those who might be on the border between them and another company.
