  1. You can crush up flake food to nearly microscopic dust. Or reef roids. Just don't feed a whole lot because chances are the container they are kept in isn't cycled. I put them in a larger container in the same water the fish are in (leftover water change saltwater) and it seems to help them last longer
  2. Feed the brine all you want they remember the flake and frozen
  3. Hey lynz. I tried to keep them out and failed. Literally everything I bought had them All over. I would consider carefully fragging at the red line I am starting to wonder if they can come in microscopic lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Congrats and thanks for your service!
  5. It is a neat coral. This explains it a little. Sounds like someone figured out they were different and slowly gained appreciation for it. They propagate slowly and it sounds like there are supply issues https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ABEylgC8bAs
  6. Lol. Yea but wasn't there a time when they sold for $10 each? Then I wake up next day and they are $600? I wonder how the demand went up on them so much Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Can someone please explain to me how bounce mushrooms got all hyped up?
  8. Walt Disney Acropora. Most over rated coral in the hobby. The problem is that it photographs extremely well under full blues. Under some whites it looks like a $20 tenuis. I keep it in high light. The rainbows in Spain is proabably medium light.
  9. Now a pic of the beer with more blues on! Enjoying Frederick's finest beer I highly recommend the factory tour of flying dog. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. I had whatever the heck it is. It went away when the rock matured. Took awhile though I didn't try to fight it
  12. Mine stayed small. And the bigger ones were smart enough to stay hidden from fish under rock. I could only spot them because I run a bare bottom and could look from underneath. But again, the bigger ones are still small. From what I understand mysis are different than mysid. The mysis are the frozen fresh water packaged ones you buy at the store and mysid are the smaller ones found in our tanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2003/9/breeder Mysidopsis species are omnivorous and cannibalistic, feeding on diatoms and small crustaceans such as copepods Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Loving the Rainbow in Spain. It looks way better from a top down view Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. The picture and video looks like mysid shrimp. Lucky
  17. I see those flatworms all the time at a LFS grazing on algae. Harmless but I'm surprised your 6 line isn't eating them!

  23. Cool little dude. I kept a similar one in my sump. It did a great job cleaning up but did play with my ATO float. I made some modifications and I missed it a lot after it died a year or two later
