  1. Nice trim work! Tangs look healthy. Why does the water look low?
  2. Hope things get better for you soon!
  3. Well done! Looks great with not a lot of maintenance.
  4. Hope you have a speedy recovery
  5. I wanted to treat myself to a yellow belly regal angel. Contacted Tuan and luckily he had two in stock. I told him that my Purple tang and Two spot tang that may not like the regal so he recommended the larger regal (both angels were the same price). He was right, the tangs "greeted" the regal but nothing like the introduction of some other fish I've purchased. The regal is the perfect size for my tank and colors really are amazing. I already placed an order for a friend and will pick up 1-2 fish for me when I pickup his order.
  6. Nice skimmer. What pump do you have running it?
  7. The three amigos. Great video.
  8. I don't use either. I tried a refugium a few times with different types of macroalgae but they all just dissolved after a while. I only have some rubble rock in the sump where the water first comes in and a return pump for a sump setup.
  9. I have a 220g with around 30 fish sps and lps. I do a 50g water change every two weeks. I haven't seen any difference since going without a skimmer.
  10. I would still check for flukes or other ailments. Yellow wrasses are usually low to mid level swimmers. Yours seem to stay at the top.
  11. Nice rock work. The algae will go away with water changes and time. Are you going to put on a screen on top of the tank?
  12. I use reef cleaners rock, really porous clean rock.
  13. My tank is in the basement where no one goes to unless we are going to the backyard. I try to take a few minutes a day to just enjoy a somewhat stable tank and make sure the inhabitants are happy. Before that I would try to add stuff to the fish room (its an in wall tank) that would require attention, like a fowlr set up but once the projects are completed you still have to go out of your way to see the tank without the extra incentives. But one project that would be fun is a breeding tank with clowns or cardinals, maybe it could be doubled as a frag tank.
  14. I volunteered at MACNA and left my yellow reef nutrition tote bag at coat check. It had an exquisite wrasse and couple of acros and a book inside. Does someone have my bag?
  15. Having so many amazing looking fish at one time must be rewarding. Great job on being successful with these very difficult fish.
  16. This is going to be a great tank. Looking forward to the corals you will grow out of it. Which skimmer is that?
