we did that about 10 years ago before they really tightened down what you can and can't do. We actually took our own boat and anchored in there for the night and it was fairly isolated at the time so no crazies....and there were no clear or posted regulations about swimming with them....I am not sure if you were able to see or experience it, but when the moms swim by with their calves they move them under their bodies and they emit almost a dolphin like sound and the baby answers repeatedly until they swim past you....it was so awesome to witness!!! One swam past me so fast (who knew that they could go that fast they are so fat lol) and knocked me right over ....awesome experience...glad you posted this as it made me go back in time and remember what was an incredible weekend that I had forgotten about!!!! I don't remember anymore if this is steve or me LOL

mine never seem to mind where I put them in the tank as long as there is a ton of flow on them.....

its like herding cats with the 3 of you....you are all aging me

once you dial it in you will barely test much...at least I don't....if I see any changes in the corals that make me want to test I do...but once a month I do a quick alk and ca and check it but otherwise I don't bother much..If I see the corals start to go on a growth spurt I always check to make sure I am still on track.... I have to say though my friend, when you decided to get into the hobby it was a well publicized fact you needed to test and tinker with the chemistry....it is probably part of the reason you decided to join in ....so don't get lazy now...otherwise the reef police will confiscate your tank and give you a bowl with a guppy in it and call it a day

bet ya $10 he takes out the diamond goby pretty fast too as its going to spit sand all day long on his corals...lol mess up your perfectly balanced sand.

Yes that's true but your little slice of heaven ain't nsw lol...the nsw stays consistent by design...yours on the other hand needs some room to wiggle
