Feel free to start a dedicated tank thread and showcase everything....we love pictures and since it becomes an online diary for you it is fun to watch your metamorphosis as time marches on...especially if you end up upgrading.... Just jump right into everything.....you have found an amazing group of people who truly care not only about the hobby but each other....

I had those in my first tank when I first started....I was over run with them and they grew bigger than dinner plates...LOL...it was insane...they multiplied like nothing else to this day I have ever seen.... here is a picture of them in that tank....

ok, your hazing is complete! (that will teach you to leave us for a year) You made it through and are re-energized....stop off on your way home and grab a couple of small emeralds and sound the horns....

Evan you are the come back kid...we are all here rallying around you....your tank will be back in no time with just a little TLC...as sad as it is to look at for you now, in a very short order you will be energized each day seeing the positive changes....baby steps before you run again....remember, a ton of us have your corals and cal always get you up and going again if necessary just glad the sewer issue is on its way to an end....what an awful experience.

anything sturdy enough and large enough to hold everything.... I have used crap stuff from target or walmart for just a few bucks just for a temp holding or if its something I really want to keep and use go to tractor supply and they have all sizes of really heavy stock rubbermaid (like my sump that you have seen)

start a new thread and then use a site such as photobucket and copy the IMG code from each photo and paste it

Welcome!!! You're in good hands...ask as many questions as you can think of...nothing is took simple or dumb...it's a tough hobby to jump into but you have a wealth of knowledge in this membership. Take advantage of it lots of members live near you....

I said 2 because the 1 May not eat it..you have a better chance with 2...plus they aren't always hardy...when you're done put them up for another member to take...if you don't want them

i have really never battled this plague....i have had a few here and there over the years and was careful to remove the algae whole and get it out of the tank...I have heard a lot of success with emeralds worth a shot to pick up 2...

ummm thats a lot of bubble algae....easier to start again with the rocks??? I would be afraid of the emerald that could tackle that....
