Whats up everyone! Hope you all are all doing well. I have since adopted another female english bulldog She is doing really well. She is pretty humungus! She was around 100 lbs. when we got her and I have since slimmed her down to around 77 lbs. She is a huge sweet heart! I also found out I will be having a baby girl April 18th of next year so I am pretty excited about that! I am now in the early planning stages of doing my next tank. You know I couldn't stay away too long! I hope all the stuff I sold all you guys is doing really well for you all!! I see alot of you have gone the way of LED's. Great decision! I will also be going this route. Just need to read up on it more and try and convince my brain they actually make coral grow and thrive! LOL

I want to say thank you to everyone who bought my corals, fish, etc. You really helped me out and I hope you enjoy everything. Everyone who came by and picked stuff up got a chance to meet my sweet baby Lola. She passed away tonight at 6:45pm from complications from her heart and lungs. I love you sweetheart. Good Night

Troy and everyone else, thank you so much. I appreciate it truly. My wife teared up when I told her about all of you and what your willing to do. I will definitely get back into reefing again. I love it too much not to. I would rather people just get my coral instead of donations. It is more of a pride thing I guess. It would make me feel extremely bad taking money especially in this economy.

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for all the wishes. I got some PM's about Donations for the surgery. I guess I wasn't clear when I explained it. I already forked the money over for her surgery. Money I didnt really have but how do you say no? My dog to me is like my little girl and not just a pet. I know most of you would agree. Anyways I am in a financial bind right now so thats why I am selling everything. Its really the only choice I have. The Vet bill ran me just a little of $3K for everything. Sucks you cant buy Dog Medical Insurance..heh But thank you all again so much. Your a great group of people. I am updating my list accordingly with what people want as soon as the PM's come in. -Chris

I found out this past weekend one of my Bulldogs has mamory cancer. So for all the medical bills and everything envolved it pretty much broke me. I have thought about this all weekend long and this is my only real option. I dont want to do this but I really have no choice. I will make a formal thread listing everything I have from corals to fish to equipment in the For Sale section later today with prices. I was just giving a heads up. I know the market has been a little dry as of late on WAMAS so I am posting this on several boards. Of course I will need to sell all livestock before I sell the equipment. But if you want something in particular, just let me know and I'll see about holding it for you. I will continue to be a member here and will eventually get back into it when I can. Thanks, Chris

What kind of reactor would the pellets go in? I currently use an MR1 for Rowaphos/Carbon. Would that work?

I currently use Rowaphos and Carbon for water clarity and phosphate removal. However the more I read about Vodka/Microbacter 7 dosing, the more I want to try it. I have a couple SPS that went from a beautiful color to brown and I think it has to do with excess nutrients. I feed my tank twice a week with Rods, Cyclo, and Oyster Feast very sparingly as to not over feed. But I feel excess nutrients still are showing up some how? Seeing how clean the reefs and how peoples corals are "coloring up" under the vodka method makes me want to give it a shot but like with anything new I am leary of the dangers. Does anything on the market rival vodka dosing for NO3/Phos removal as well as help color up corals? Who here doses with vodka or has tried it?

I bought this Lab Grade Carbon F&F sells and it makes my tank so clear it doesn't even look like water is in it! I use about a fist full and change it out every two weeks.

Well I eneded up just re-aquascaping maybe 60% of the tank. Took me about an hour including water changes. I like it. Created some cool overhangs and it all looks more natural now.

My tank started out looking real nice but now it just looks cluttered and not natural so I want to reaquascape it. Whats the best way to go about doing this? Take the corals out and put them in a big rubbermaid for a temp. holding tank? I'm talking a maximum of maybe 20-30 minutes they would be out of my DT till I re-arranged stuff.

I wish that would happen with my Radient Wrasse. I may never know for sure what ever really happend to him

I think Angels are amazing but I love corals more so I will not keep any regardless of how reef safe they may be (Flame, Potters, etc..) because I have heard just way to many horror stories of prize possesions being eatin.
