I have never seen that, but I have come down to find a claw less CBS with a big sally lightfoot chomping on the claw. And even though there is NO need for defense in feeding, think of snakes eating mice or even feeding your fish live brine (smaller CBS) Your mantis looks amazingly healthy and happy which is all that matters.

Try cutting tassels in it. So that the clip looks like a mini brush when you are done and they can pull little strips off rather than chew at the whole big piece. But if they eat it you will know, they rip at it.

T12 Actinic ATI AcuaSun ATI AquaBlue ATI ProColor ATI Blue Plus T12 Acinic What about wattage? 24w or 39w? it is the 660 running 4x36'', andI will be getting either another 660 or a 430 to run the T12s. Tank is a 65g tall and I want to grow everything? Thanks for all the help thus far.

been to discovery cove. Don't recall much "live" coral but I'm sure there was some with the number of parrot fish they had. I'm guessing he stubbed his toe early and swam around all day. so what combo would you use for say a 5 bulb setup?

From what it sounds like I would stop doing the kalk water drip to bring down your alk. Your Ca seems like it is at a good level and you dont want to add more. Some water changes and not adding anything should bring it down naturally.
