  1. Thanks all for all the help and addvice! Hopefully it passes the leak test later on this week when I put some water in it. If the plastic get's bad I'll order a new one to replace it.
  2. It's a standard AGA and sits on top of all the stands they make.
  3. Man I love this Acro!!!
  4. I always order mine off of ebay and it come straight to the house saving me a trip.
  5. Thanks everyone! I checked under and there aren't any chips or cracks just a crack in the plastic. Do I really have to replace that or does it not affect anything? It is Tempered glass which I think was my saving grace no it just has to pass the leak test to make sure the seals are okay. Fingers crossed!
  6. So I got a good deal on a 180 that has never been use and picked it up yesterday evening with a buddy. Everything was going great we got to my house and carried it around the townhouse complex to get to my basement door through mud, rain, and really wet grass. Everything was going great and as we were getting it into the basement I was thinking I was in the clear and this baby made it home okay I was wrong. I went to set my side on the the carpeted floor when all the sudden my side of the tank slipped out of my hands and fell about a foot onto the carpet and we heard something break. It looks like the plastic was the only thing that cracked and the glass if fine but now I am going to have to do an extra long leak test before I even begin wasting time drilling the thing. I really hope everything turns out ok and nothing leaks so I didn't completely waste my money. :( Just had to vent because me being an idiot was running through my head all night. :(
  7. Having pictures was a great idea that was the first time I have seen a pink setosa Looks real nice!
  8. Nice!!! What is that green acro with dark polyps in the 6th pic?
  9. reefcrest on both tanks here
  10. That Sucks Bob! How hard did you hit that thing? :(
  11. Both my MP40W and MP20 have been working great with know issues as of yet thankfully. What is happening to the wet side of your pumps?
  12. How in the world does that work???
  13. Glad it worked out and I hope the tank comes in just the way you want it.
  14. That makes me feel a lot better about the JBJ ATO sitting in my basement waiting for me to install it.
  15. How about the Tunze ATO? Anyone use this? Isn't it supposed to prevent things like this from happening since it uses sensors instead of float switches?
  16. looking great so far.
  17. Great looking stuff Bob! I have had great success with 98% (rough estimate) of the corals I have gotten from sonny (Mr. Coral) I frequently by his stuff off of ebay and others from the store whe I go over there to pick up my stuff. He and his crew have been nothing but nice and great to me and I always look forwards to going up there to pick up corals. I have also gottem a good amount of zoanthids and never had a single problem but I always dip my things before going into the tank. My only complaint is that he is so far away from here. :(
  18. Welcome Tony and great looking tank!
  19. Sorry forgot the link http://www.channel10.com/news/mostpop/stor...mp;provider=top
  20. Here is a link to another article with a video of the damage on the upper right of the webpage.
  21. I had a 33 Long and I am pretty sure the glass thickness of both of those tanks are the same which is pretty thin. I would say in my opinion I wouldn't trust it with that many holes. Like Rod said 2 holes and a nice power head will be great for that set up. Also be careful tightening the bulkheads on glass that thin because it is real easy to get stress fractures. :(
  22. Wrasses do a good job.
  23. Same here, I didn't get anything :(
  24. you can add an efluent chamber to your calcium reactor o get rid of any extra CO2 and like others have said run a reverse cycle fuge as well.
