I got mine from http://usplastics.com/search/default.aspx?it=item&keyword=starboardin the past. Cheaper option is to paint the outside of the bottom of the tank white. Looks really good and it all gets covered anyway.

I feel worse for all the divers and people relying on the income from fisheries. I would think many of them have been doing this their entire lives and these fisheries support entire communities.

Could there be fluctuations? Possibly alk dropping and increasing at some point?

Oh and I wonder if the person that had it before had it next to some heaters. Might have caused that.

Won't be able to buff that out. Crazing usually goes in pretty deep and would have to take off too much material and would weaken it / not worth the effort. I wouldn't worry about since its internal skimmer.
