Rich's best line of the night was "Your keynote speaker is the best known aquarist ever to have a bucket named after him."  Haha

... Carlson Surge Device (just in case anybody was wondering).

So we're positive it's on the 17th and not the 18th right?

It usually seems to be on a Sunday, but the 17th is a Saturday.

The calendar shows the 17th.

Worm, I think that Isaac's kidding around - recalling an earlier thread that said something very similar about always having meetings in Virginia. For the last couple of years, we've tried to alternate sites across the river to provide a little more balance.

Yes, I am poking the bear, if you will.

No matter the location of the meetings, it usually takes about the same time to get to, WAMAS has done a bang up job of equal meeting distribution between VA/MD.

Historically, we've had bad luck with meetings in Montgomery County Public Schools. In many cases, nobody would show up to open the school, or there'd be some other kind of mix up. We had some very good luck though with North Bethesda Middle School and have latched onto it like a lucky penny. This next meeting will be our third (I think) in that location.
