Not sure honestly. They say 10 to 20% water volume for the fuge. Iam not sure what mine is but I still need to cut out my filter sock area which will give me prob around 23%. Iam currently working to triton but need my fuge to grow more first
Sorry for the delay. I have midterms this week and totally forgot I won a $25 cert from you. Just wanted to say thank you and I look forward to seeing your new store soon
Mushrooms are the hot coral at the moment. If you think back Iam sure you can remember the chalice craze or the acan one. Zoas are crazy because of the morphs and a collectors mentality around them
Your fish are most likly over fed anyway. Fish in the ocean go around and pick at rocks all day. Your probably feeding them food so packed with nutrients that they are fine. 3 days will not hurt anything
Its growing. You should see the things at shows these days. Plug and play systems. Some of the craziest brightest corals. I was looking at videos for reefapaloza and its crazy.. iam actually thinking about going next time.
Manually remove as much as you can. Do a large water change and leave your lights off for 3 days with no feeding. It should go away. The real question is... why did it pop up. When I get it I know its time for me to break some of my hollywood stunner off because its stopping flow. Your reason may be diffrent
I usually use fiji pink on my tanks also. This tank is only 48x24x12 so pink wont work. I think link above in my only shot at sand. Its more of a look down system so I dont want to keep the bottom bare because you will see the brace and the stand cutout
Finally getting around to putting this thing together. Special thanks go out to JOHN FORD for "helping me" with my plumbing (He put it together while I made 4 trips to get supplies we forgot). Schedule 80 bulkheads dont fit schedule 40 holes......

My wife asked me to reach out to you guys to see if anyone would be willing to teach a coral conservation class for a girl scout troop. We live in gainesville va. I would be willing to help and even research and print material as needed. I would possibly even rope john ford into it.... (subtle way of asking) Any help would be greatly appreciated and Iam sure the girls would be thrilled to learn about coral and efforts to protect the reefs.
Any suggestions on how to remove one from a tank. He has a huge den thats pretty much the entire bottom of my 40b. He was annoying at first.. just burying things... recently he has taken to stealing corals and dragging them into his house. He killed an Acan and a Duncan.
