wade April 20, 2015 April 20, 2015 As you know, WAMAS is hosting MACNA 2015 here in DC! As part of that process, we are assisting a professional publishing company in the design and content for the program book that will be handed to each and every participant who walks in the door at the event. As a nod to all of you in WAMAS, we would like to have a section of that program book dedicated to members' reef tanks! In support of that goal, we are offering a contest with the winning images displayed in the program book. The winners of this contest will have their images placed into the program guide for the world to see! The contest categories (and number of winners) will be: Full tank shots (4) * (1-2) spotlight features Invertebrates (2) Coral - softies (1), lps (1), sps (1), other which may include any runners up from previous (1) Fish (2) If you are chosen as a winner of the contest, your image will need to be available in high resolution for printing (300dpi) so please make sure that if you enter a photo you have the original available to submit. The top full tank shot(s) will have the opportunity to provide more details and potentially more images for a feature spotlight. Photos will be judged by the MACNA directors (with assistance from the publisher's graphic artists). All images chosen to be published will be properly attributed to the photographer. Additionally, a few sentences/paragraph describing any winning photos would be greatly appreciated! The contest will run from now until May 15. Winners will be announced around May 19. All full res images will be due upon notification on the 19th so that we can make this happen. Cheers and good luck! If you have any questions, let us know. PLEASE POST YOUR (lower res) PHOTOS IN THIS THREAD, THANKS!

wade April 20, 2015 Author April 20, 2015 Can we submit images from a dive trip? No, this is to feature people's tanks. I have a few dive trip photos I'd like to submit myself, but we're keeping it to the hobby.
