I first started out with a 20 gallon long in March of 2011. In December of 2011, I decided it was time to "upgrade" to an ADA tank. Fast forward to January 2013 and I have decided to add a sump.

Aquarium one in Rockville, MD drilled and installed my kit from Glassholes. Paul did a great job.

My fiancé and I found a nice buffet table in Harrisonburg, VA over thanksgiving and refinished it over New Years weekend.

When we bought it

Added graphite paint so when we sanded the white down, the graphite would show

That's a gorgeous tank. Great work! Very clean. How did you get the hanging arm for the Radion? I'm doing a very similar build with an ADA 90-P and a Radion and would like to avoid hanging it from the ceiling.

Thank you. I used 1/2" black steel piping from lowes/home depot. It can be found in the plumbing section. I will take better pictures tonight of the light arm.

Thank you. Old Town is great, been living here for almost 2 years.

Super nice tank, love the rock work.

Thanks. I used that black foam spray that is usually used for ponds. Worked out nicely.

Love it! Is the glass-holes overflow quiet enough for a living room? Where's the skimmer in that sump?

Glass-holes is super quiet, we can't hear anything while watching TV and barely a thing with TV off. Just added the skimmer the other night, pics below.

Very nice and welcome!!

Thanks!

Still need to hide some of the wires

I drove out to That Fish Place for a frag swap yesterday, came back with 5 nice SPS pieces.

I was so busy looking at the tank that I totally missed the rocks and the overhang. It's really great! I'm impressed that the sprayfoam holds that well. Do you have a base with an acrylic rod or something going up that left piece to keep it from falling over?

Love the look of the stand with the brick and the wood floors. Would you mind sharing a little bit more about the rod you built to hold your lights? I'm getting ready to go the way of the ceiling, but I think my lights are a little heavier than what you're sporting.

No acrylic rod. I was actually able to balance the rocks ontop of eachother before I sprayed them. The spray just adds more security, and the bond is super strong.

Thank you. I keep meaning to take pictures of it. But, it is 1/2 inch black (also comes in silver) metal piping from Home Depot. You can find it in the plumbing section. I just bought a few connectors and 90* elbows, and screwed them together.

Here is the original one I made when I had my first tank and t5's

Very nice

Thanks, motti.

This is my other tank. ADA 30c. Doesn't get much attention, but everything inside seems happy.

Very modern/industrial looking, I like it. I've got a 45 cube coming in today, might look into making something like this. Or maybe I'll just hang from the ceiling. I'm obviously on the fence about it. Do you have an RO/DI?

A lot of people also use conduit piping and bend it, but I found this easier than having to use a pipe bender.

Yes, I received a ro/do unit for Christmas. It is the Bulk Reef Supply 4 stage plus.

love the stand. great idea of using sections of conduit. this really makes it modular. i may go this route as well instead of bending the pipe. the end cap really gives it a unique look as well.

It's really pretty. I'm also impressed that Paul M was willing to drill that return pipe hole so close to the top and corner of the glass of that very nice tank.

You pop on the board and drop not one but two really nice looking rimless ADA tanks on us and then play coy with how "neglected" the kitchen counter one is. It's great too! What are you doing for filtration on the counter? You sneak a sump inside that corner cabinet? I like the kitchen too. Looks like Ikea Adel doors which is what we've done in our last two kitchens.

Thanks for your comments.

I was surprised too when I saw it, he did a great job drilling the tank.

Haha, the kitchen tank really is neglected. It has an aqua clear 50 on it, but it broke months ago. It has a koralia 240 power head. The lighting is a couple ecoxotic panorma pros and stunner bars. All the zoa's came from the 60p after I broke it down to do the drilling. I know the kitchen cabinets are from ikea, but not sure what model. The kitchen had the cabinets and granite when I bought the condo, we just added the backsplash and stainless steel.
