  1. Ryan - I have a 20x20x20 cube in Fairfax. I have not had larger tanks, but I really like the size and look of the smaller cube. If you want to take a look and get a feel for the size, feel free to stop by sometime!
  2. Haha your thread title reads to me like Step Brothers advertising Prestige Worldwide... Computers! Finance! Research and DEVELOPMENT! Looking forward to the build!
  3. Does anyone have an extra Marco cement I could buy? I just need a little - but the min buy on Marco is something like 5 lbs.

Looks great!! Have a question for ya-- how/where are you attaching the base of the conduit piece for the light hanger? Thanks!
  5. Have one in my NC12 on the lowest setting- works great!!
  6. Right--my bad Doug. Vendor. And you definitly need to drop by and check him out!
  7. Arlo is a local member who imports very nice coral, and has recently become a sponsor. I visited recently, and he has two beautiful show tanks along with a large frag system.
  8. Watching along Very nice work so far!!!
  9. March 28th or 29th... or May...?? Either way--I have seen you have a bunch of really nice corals, so might try to stop by.. sad to hear you are calling it quits for a while :(
  10. Was just down there in the Keys, did a lot of cool marine stuff!!! Will start a thread in the next day or two once I get all my pictures up.
  11. I bought the frag last friday. All the polyps were fully opened up by the next day, and were so for probably around 3-4 days. I noticed the polyps closing up around mid week, this week.
  12. Hey guys-- Picked up two small zoa frags last week, one is still looking great but the other has closed up in the last couple days. All the other zoas in the tank look great, its just this one colony. I am really not an expert in this field, so I wanted to see what you guys think. Do you see any irritants, pests, predators etc? What are the small pink things near the base? Thanks!
  13. What shutter speed do you use for full tank shots? As opposed to fish shots? Do you use a tripod for fish shots?
  14. Will not be able to make it. I guess you moved the time up, I have driving school from 3-6. Double :(
  15. The Mithrax crab (or Emerald) is generally reknown for eating bubble algae, although some people have little success. Peppermint shrimps are known to eat Aptasia, but I find Joe's Juice to be just as effective. Hope that helps.
  16. Thanks for including the second date! Leave some good stuff for us!!
  17. Would be very interested, although I will be out of town for Pres. Day. Not sure how many are in the same boat...
  18. Wow! Your photography is always so amazing!! (and the zoos) What are the specs of those shots? Custom WB? Really nice!
  19. Hey, have been lurking around for a while. Have met some of you through coral trading or group buys, but still would like to meet a bunch of you. Trying to get to the meeting on the 20th! Anyways--here's my tank. 20 long, fearing the upgrade to a larger system ($$$$) HS budget.... but will probably make the switch to a 38 I have lying around. We'll see, running out of space now!! At this point I am running fishless, but looking to do some sort of gobys, something small. Tank is mostly overrun by softies at this point, but I am looking forward to trying some different stuff down the road! Enjoy! --David
