I would like to borrow/use a coral cutting band saw. Does anyone have one of these? Can a local vendor maybe do this? The rock is about an inch and a half thick.

What dremel do you have that cuts through 1.5" Rock.? I need one of those.!

meh. i was thinking you could go all the way around it like a 1.5" pvc. you could get 0.5" in and then use the screw driver/hammer to finish it maybe?

Or

type put the word "quote" inside square brackets like this [] before what you want to quote and finish it by putting "/quote" inside the square brackets [].

Ouch!

I stick it between my butt cheeks and clench really tight. I have yet to find anything I couldn't break.

Ratcheting PVC pipe cutters work great for cutting rocks. You can buy replacement blades too.

I've always used coral-cutters to nip around the edges but have never done anything very thick. I LIKE the idea of the pipe cutter - should make a nice precise cut!
