  1. KP Aquatics are pretty awesome.
  2. I just use pond foam on dry rock and a even tiny bit works great. You can cut back any excess too or cover it in 2 part and sand to blend it.
  3. That's insane!! Whole thing looks gorgeous Khanh. I thought he used to have a bunch of pink skunks in with it when he first set it up?
  4. I'm with zygote on this one, you'd be surprised how big ordinary bristles can get (I've had a few foot longs in my bigger tanks, maybe a little over). Plus there's literally thousands of species of Eunicid worms... Edit: Man I just saw your update that you sold it all. Sorry this caused you to get out and I hope you can get back into it soon. And whoever bought it needs to keep us updated!
  5. +1 We'll have no idea with that much blue. Utter Chaos was my WAG... also the only really sparkly one I know. Slightly more educated guess... Darth Maul?
  6. Gorgeous! But I'm more impressed with that red/turqoise palything!
  7. Utter Chaos? Have any other pictures of them? Just make up a name, no one will notice
  8. I was thinking of the clown tang, but said sohal, sorry. Aren't they supposed to be pretty aggressive tho? Maybe he's alright since he's pretty tiny still? Was referring to this little dude from your build thread: And what? Dussumieri's get bigger than Sohals! They'd be fine with your tank for a long time tho, it'll take years to get even close to that. I get the feeling tho, when I had my 360g, I had a vlamingi, but refused to get a hippo tang. This thread is REALLY making me miss a bigger tank!
  9. Yikes, didn't I see a Sohal in your tank thread too? And the Yellow tang is the jerk? Wow. If only I could figure out how to do it around my plumbing..
  10. Hawkfish have some of the best personalities. Get a pair and get twice the personality! My wishlist: (my old 360/180g tanks back and a walkout basement ) juvenile Australian Harlequin Tusk shadow box for behind my tank light hanging fixture that swivels Why are ya'll getting rid of your yellow tangs?
  11. Fuzzy dwarf lion was feeling photogenic over the weekend. It's the "QT" so I don't algae wipe often, but top down is her best angle anyway. Astrea snail for reference
  12. I always forget to update this thread, hence the photo dump Was productive this weekend and bought a couple of white brute trashcans to redo my waterchange station, and added some black sand to the 90. Here's my dry aquascape. Clock is off on the lights, hence the difference in color, but I thought it was cool for photos: Lots of caves (plus one very large eel cave!) I've wanted to use this giant acro in a scape for a long time. It was upside down in my 180, but that doesn't do it justice. tall tower from my 360 build that I made even taller from the side My goal was to make it as swim-space friendly as possible with an open 'scape with lots of places to do some continuous cruising (at least as much as you can with 4' to work with). My tangs used to love racing around the turns I made in my 360 and wanted to incorporate that same feeling here (and used a lot of the same rocks!). Really wanted that feeling of a drop off tank, but also needed a nice cave system for an eel (and this one's pretty sweet) and was inspired by pics of caves with beams of light shining through. Can't tell in these pics as I have my lights sitting haphazardly on the tank, but the light comes through the back on the right side pretty well. It turned out how I pictured in my head, so that's a bonus. And I know those scratches are going to drive me nuts!
  13. I got my hubby his favorite fish: Toby puffer! And Ham the pygmy hawk was not impressed there's another camera hog in town... But he's still the best at posing for pics, even if my skills and camera phone are lacking. The rest of the gang gives it a good try The "temporary resident" baby zebra eel (she almost eats more than my adult snowflake did! and much more often)
