jamal January 9, 2008 January 9, 2008 i agree dave, dan will definitely be getting a call from me on my next upgrade
jamesbuf January 19, 2008 January 19, 2008 Alright, looks like someone finally convinced you to get an anemone for those clowns. What finally made you break down?
dandy7200 January 19, 2008 Author January 19, 2008 Nice snag, Dan! Was that from the Diver's Den? Tracy Yep, they posted it late last night when I was cruzin for a rabbit fish and I couldn't pass it up. Alright, looks like someone finally convinced you to get an anemone for those clowns. What finally made you break down? haha... Between you and ML I really didn't have a choice. I gave the bicinctus a couple months to get cozy with one of the euphyllias and they were not having any part of that so.....h. crispa is a natural host for them, should stay on the sandbed with as much light as I pump into my tank and I happen to have a 2' section of sandbed reserved for this guy.

Jager January 20, 2008 January 20, 2008 mmm regals, luckily mine is doing well as i cannot imagine a tank without a regal now that ive been able to keep one successfully for almost a year. best thing that ever happened to my angel keeping habits was tbh the porc puffer, i wouldnt be surprised dan if they took to your cowfish and tended to prefer what it was eating. a weird but cool thing to see beautiful work and congrats on the new baby.
zotzer January 20, 2008 January 20, 2008 Love that fish list! Aside from the cowfish, what's your favorite? Tracy
dandy7200 January 22, 2008 Author January 22, 2008 Jager, all my angels love cowfish poo Good thing there is plenty to go around lol. Tracy, I like them all The eel I have had ever since I have been in the hobby (about 5 years or so) and has seen a few tank moves. Most of the others I have had between one and two years. These are the first new fish I have gotten in some time so I am pretty excited. Speaking of new fish, here is my QT setup description: I have a litemeter3 that performs a 5 gallon waterchange everyday on my main system. This old tank water is fed to the 20 gallon QT tank and that has an overflow that drains outside. So basically my QT gets a 25% WC everyday. There is no other filtration hooked up to the tank, substrate or live rock etc. I QT a minimum of 3 weeks, this goes for corals as well. Various dips are performed as needed.
treesprite January 22, 2008 January 22, 2008 tank's looking amazing. I'm waiting for tank tours of all these great big tank upgrades people have had lately
dandy7200 January 25, 2008 Author January 25, 2008 Didn't get a good pic of the h. crispa but did manage a FTS:
jamesbuf January 25, 2008 January 25, 2008 (edited) I see the 6201s are already on the new Tunze holders. Pointing up huh. You must've been talking to Justin. Edited January 25, 2008 by jamesbuf
vaironman March 16, 2008 March 16, 2008 The cowfish looks so tiny in his new gigantic home!! Tracy He's a monster that can chomp down half piece of medium size shrimp in no time. Dan demonstrated to me a couple months back. Don't let that little cowfish fool you.
dandy7200 March 16, 2008 Author March 16, 2008 Any updates Dan? Went with the CT signature shot..... I lost a little focus towards the end of the tank though, any tips?
