I have had a rush of work lately and have accumulated a ton of new scrap material. With this I am able to give WAMAS members quite a good deal on things that would normally be a lot more expensive. I live in Crofton Md. but, do make runs to College Park Maryland to meet folks if a couple people can meet at the same time. I still have a lot of 1/2" material that is scratch resistent coated. I can generally build tanks to 300 gallons with this stuff. I have pieces 8ft. long still. I also still have tons of the 18"by 12" pieces in which I am running specials on.

Okay, I currently have over 350 pieces of 1/2" material 18" by 12" I can make custom nano tanks or frag tanks with this up to a 18" by 18" by 12". I can build rimless tanks with this being that it's 1/2" material. These would be $40 for the tank and if you want an overflow it would be $50. You won't see nano tanks built with this thickness of material for this price. Now I also have gotten several large pieces of what's called AR material. This is abrasion/scratch resistent material that has a special coating on it that makes it nearly as scratch resistent as glass. I have several 6'by 8foot full sheets that are 1/2" thick. I can make a tank that has this coating on the inside so it will make cleaning algae a lot easier without the fear of scratching as easy. There will be no extra charge for using this material. I also have literally a ton of 3/8" thick sheets which is great for sumps and small tanks less than 75 gallons. All tanks will have diamond polished edges with bevel to give that highly detailed and refined look. All tanks will be made using black silicone. There will be no sloppy silicone work on our tanks. Starphire glass is available at an additional charge. Overflows will be $30-$70 per. Holes will be $25 1st one and $20 after that. Pricing will be +22% from what you see on glass cages website. We use a high safety factor when calculating glass thickness. We are located in Crofton, Maryland for pickup but, often can make arrangements for a College Park Maryland pickup if multiple people can meet at the same time. I have a lot of material for shallow tanks less than 14" in height and have some long pieces. I can do some good deals on 4ft. or less in length tanks and have them done in a day or two from the time order is placed. No deposit required. The overflow is an external one that is about 10" out from the tank. There is a 2" drain in it and I think Mark is going to grow mangroves in it. The circ pump is about 800gph.

Bad idea........over time it will be a problem.

I am doing a one tank special for the holidays for WAMAS members. This is a standard 180gallon tank using cell cast acrylic 72"x24"x24". Over flow box is included and you pick where you want it. The acrylic is already cut to size so the dimensions cannot be made larger but, I certainly can cut them down if and inch or two is needed to be trimmed off. This tank would be at a minimum of $1200 normally + $150 for me to deliver it. So from $1350 to $800 is the discount on this tank. The top of the tank will have three openings so if your running 3 halides this will work well or if your running T-5's. Tank will be made in one week to 10days. You MUST email me for this jeffhaddock@comcast.net Delivery is limited to a 1hour drive from the Crofton Md. area Coast to Coast overflow cannot be made on this tank. Colored background is not included.

Steve, are you sure it's acrylic? I know of someone on CMAS that builds stuff but, he uses Lexan (a polycarbonate) not acrylic. This material does not bond up as well to begin with even for the experienced fabricator. I'd find out for sure whether it's that same guy and if it's Lexan I'd take it back to him and have him fix it. Did you buy it new or used?

Well we just got a ton of material leftover from some larger projects. lots of 1/2" material 20" wide by 8ft. long. There is also a lot of 3/8" material along with a little bit of 1/4".
