  1. I really like the lawnmower blenny. Nice pics!
  2. Use a small powerhead connected to a tube.
  3. Nice tank Eddi. Good to see you back around. Scott
  4. I have a bit for 3/4 inch bulkhead and a 1.5 inch bulkhead.
  5. The sequence pumps are pretty quick. The only noice they could make would be from vibration which can be controlled....
  6. If you are worried about the pump being underpowered, then you could go with the hammerhead that is rated up to 5800 gph. I have my barracuda dialed back quite a bit with very few bends.
  7. I like the Sequence reeflo pumps. I use the Barracuda (4200gph) on my 120 and it runs my tank with 3 1.5inch bulkheads, my refugium, and will run my growout/qt. tank. I have a ball valve to control it the outflow.
  8. Good article. look at the snakehead around here. Used to see them in Aquarium shops until some bonehead released it locally.
  9. Dave, I could house it in my 120 that is now set up.
  10. David, What are you needing it for?
  11. Crushed coral has actual pieces of coral/shells/etc.. Arragonite is just crushed coral, but it doesn't resemble coral (it looks like small gravel).
  12. Chris, I too am going to do BB for my 120. I got something similar to starboard and I think I may add some sand and just let the large amount of flow push it to where ever it settles. 13. Riley, I would imagine it is cynobacteria. increasing water movement in the area and watching the amount you feed (excess nutrients) should help out. Siphon out as much as you can when doing a water change. I can come take a look if you want. Scott
  14. junk, main ingredient is water.
  15. fans
  16. Good luck Carla, Don't give up! Look at the bright side, at least you still have stuff that survived.
  17. agreed. if you don't need one rent one. Home depot rents tools all the time.
  18. Jake, Those pictures turned out pretty good.
  19. Tony, I can help too. I am pretty close. Let me know. Scott
  20. Rebecca, Can you post some of the prices of the corals? Thanks, Scott
  21. Didn't get eaten, but that shark was huge. We were turned one way and it came behind us and brush my head with its tailfin. As it came back around we clapped our hands together to scare it away and it swam into the distance.... I can still picture the face of it and this happened over 10 years ago
  22. Very cool Dave. When I went wreck diving down there I had a tiger shark swim past me and its tail fin hit my head. Then it came back around and headed straight for us.
  23. I bid it up for you.
  24. Carl, a 120. I got the idea from reading sanjays thread. I liked the idea of an open bottom.
