  1. @Twinturbo here is a great site that explains exactly what inverts eat what. https://www.reefcleaners.org/aquarium
  2. hmm.. I can see skunk clowns protecting whatever they host from other clowns.. but I’ve seen people keep a few skunks together in a host nem. maroons are the devil. Lol
  3. Bro! The P1 looks great!!! Your progress is awesome! Way to go! They babies look killer!!!!
  4. Very unlikely they will pair.
  5. Typically clownfish eat their eggs the first few times they spawn. So if it does happen let nature take its course for a bit.
  6. when I had my turbo aquatics ATS it was amazing.. harvest every week of thickkkkk hair algae. never had an algae problem in the tank! also at one point I had to start regulating the amount of light because it was taking too many nutrients.. ive never used a chaeto reactor, but loved my scrubber..
  7. It really is not that hard, but requires prep work and gathering of certain supplies. If you are on Facebook join "Clownfish breeding USA" to get a good understanding. It can become time consuming as well.
  8. Tricia!! Welcome Back!!! How you liking Doha! I stayed there a few times at the air base heading in and out of Afghan... God it was sooo HOTTTT! I just decided to get back in as well and have started ordering my equipment etc for me build!!
  9. the nice thing about Ecotech is their coral lab results and the fact they have proven spectrum settings you can use.. love it!
  10. I have been researching the crap out of the ecotech lights since I never used them before. I follow alot of the BRS episodes and have seen WWC uses the radions for their tanks. I am sold on them now and going to be getting the xr15's for my new build, to more evenly spread the lights out.
  11. I liked my Deep Blue 90 when I had it. I am about to order a waterbox aquarium.. I really like the look and design plus the cost.
  12. So glad to hear!!!! that is awesome!!!
  13. It isn’t a shopping/shipping holiday. However it is a holiday that creates travelers. Also they weren’t operating on 4th of July as well so you lost the buffer delivery day. Where it would delivered if there was a delay. When I was shipping my clowns everywhere I never shipped the week of a standard holiday or If a shopping holiday the week before, week of, or week after. Never lost a fish in shipment!
  14. They shouldn’t have shipped this close to the holiday! It is almost a guarantee the shipment will be delayed... Very irresponsible. Especially in this heat wave! They will be stuffed in the back of a tractor trailer at the hub most likely. IF and that’s a big IF they do survive you are going to float the bag make sure you have sea chem prime on hand or some thing similar to neutralize the ammonia for when you bring that water temp up. Check out some transship acclimation videos. I’ve always been a big proponent of a long drip.. that’s me though.
  15. lol do you have an anemone in the middle of it?
  16. there ya go! he just started back up on his own again! so perfect timing!
  17. Mine was specific for gigantea carpet anemones. What are you needing it for?
  18. There are some breeders doing it. Chad Vossen was pretty big into breeding them. https://www.facebook.com/VossenAquatics/
  19. I live in Fredericksburg and my local vet doesn’t deal with fish, but I printed out the research and and went in and presented to them and received the medication.
