  1. I have had one change color but there was PH change which was the cause
  2. Also check this link out http://wamas.org/forums/topic/66795-how-to-remove-rbta/
  3. Do you have a hacksaw? Can you saw the rock up?
  4. The power head works eventually. When they go on the move they are easy to peel off the rock. You can also take the rock out and tap the rock with a hammer and they don't like the vibrations from the hammer and drop off. I havnt had luck with the ice method.
  5. I bet it's nice to have. And could potentially prevent a disaster as stated above. However I only test PH once a month. I do test Alk weekly to prevent a slow decline however with 2 part dosing in slow doser it has been dead on 10dkh every time and I'm getting bored with testing weekly. 6. This sure is a dangerous hobby. Glad you are ok
  7. Oh my. That sucker is fat.
  8. Stability is key all parameters. Alk, PH especially. Don't dose that stuff unless you need it and it must be slowwww dosed. If that wasn't the issue then buy encrusted frags
  9. The tip of the coral probably died and algae got stuck on it or started to grow there. The death could progress further down and up the coral or it could pull through and flourish
  10. blue hoeksmai? Try getting a top down picture. What color are polyps?
  11. So glad you got this also. Keep me/us informed on how it does.
  12. I had hydroids. I pulled them off the rock like pulling weeds. The ones I couldn't reach got kalk paste on them. Good luck
  13. They didn't get mesmerized? LMBO people just don't understand us
  14. where do you guys get this music lol
  15. So mesmerized right now
  16. Too cool!
  17. Where do you live?
  18. 80s O2 saturation is still moderately hypoxic especially on a non rebreather mask with high flow oxygen. I would have bumped you up to CPAP. Would have helped the shortness of breath. That's crazy that they even tested you for Ebola since you haven't been to Africa or around anyone with it. Your serious signs/symptoms with no history of respiratory issues must have really scared them. My local ER doesn't have an actual test for Ebola, they have to draw blood and have the health department pick the tubes up and they test it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. A lot of people like them and you should be able to sell them at a lower price no problem.
  20. Wow 75% on room air is extreme dangerous hypoxia. With the coughing up blood, coughing, x ray, high pulse and high BP it sounds like you got some pulmonary edema. Some fluid backed up in the lungs. Did they put you on a positive pressure ventilation mask machine? Also known as CPAP? Did you get any relief from it?
  21. They do have great customer service and healthy stuff. Competitive pricing is my favorate part about ERC
  22. Drop a snail in there for a few days bub. He will be in hog heaven. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Wouldn't hurt to try. Unless you have pest algae then it would hurt. Maybe you are one of the few with low phosphates.
  24. I'll play devils advocate. If you are actively growing chaeto or have any pest algae your tank is not too clean. That means there is enough nitrate and phosphate left over to support good chaeto growth and more than enough for good coral growth. As long as you are feeding fish and they are crop dusting your corals you are good to go.
  25. I think it is very possible some of the water/toxin was nebulized by air getting sucked in a pump or even a skimmer could nebulize the toxin dispersing it throughout the house. Still a good idea to check for other sources and it's a good time to make sure a carbon monoxide detector and smoke detectors are in working order.
