  1. Oh wow I want one
  2. Take the rock out and let it sit outside for weeks. Killing them in the water will cause the poison to get in the water only to be nebulized into the air for you and your family to breath in.
  3. Probably not going to affect it much at all as long as the neck is getting cleaned routinely
  4. Wow!! I'm surprised this operation isn't top secret
  5. wow they have different movement patterns than the ones in my sump. The ones in my sump love to party and move wicked fast never stopping and appear to be much smaller than yours. Must be a different species? Are the ones you are raising fresh or salt water kept? I wouldn't mind raising some for the fish after seeing how you keep them.
  6. Every tank could use a splash of yellow lepto. Great looking stuff
  7. It's hydroids I had them. Take the rock out and frag off the zoas. Or I got rid of my small patch of them by manually pulling them off. The unreachable ones in the crevice I killed with kalk paste or super glue. They both work well.
  8. My 72" reef brite is designed to work without a fan and is on year 3? The cool thing about the reef brites is that you don't get a lot of the shadowing people complain about as with the compact led fan cooled units. The disadvantage to the reef brite is price and you will probably have to buy 3 72" for your tank. They do take very little power and will save maintenance costs
  9. +1 it's so easy to get carried away with fish and livestock. One thing I have noticed is less fish less problems.

  15. I'll have to do that. Looks like you have great netting skills. Not sure if they like blackworms http://wamas.org/forums/topic/64196-how-to-raisekeep-blackworms-the-cheap-easy-way/
  16. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3mTjv084ZuM This is what it looks like. They eat tiny plankton in the ocean which our tanks don't have enough of to live and grow up
  17. Did you catch fish food for the horses? Do they eat grass shrimp
  18. Awesome! My fish go into a feeding frenzy when this happens! You will see it happen a lot now that they started. At least once a month. Unfortunately they won't make it in our systems and most breeders cant even raise them successfully In captivity.
  19. The tips could have died from a bunch of reasons but not from the algae you describe. Adjustable LEDs can put off too much light and fry the coral I have done it. SPS hate to be messed with just leave them be it will grow around it or frag off just the dead part making sure not to touch where the live portion begins.
  20. Mine is trans gendered. Cool! Is it shriveled up and not coming out?
  21. Thanks guys here is my favorite piece. I got from miggs76 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Good to hear. It looks like he is giving you the same look my dog gives me after he knocks over the garbage can and eats trash. What a cutie
  23. It's confusing the hippo tang and probably giving the nocturnal inverts less time to clean up. I'm going to end up getting some stronger moon lights. I'm not willing to give up my sunlight lol
  24. UHG! We have all had a newer piece of equip crap out on us and know how frustrating it is.
  25. Here's a few shots of it if anyone wants to take a lookie. Can't run much blues with the old iPad camera Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
