  1. Welcome! This group is a great resource and there are a lot of very nice people always willing to help.
  2. I am so jealous! How cool. What type o seahorses? mine haven't had babies in a while
  3. I love this so much. It's great that you are able to raise the babies
  4. That is pretty cool-keep the pictures coming-Cris
  5. I was worried about stressing mine out more too but it was starting to look worse and I figured, what do i have to lose?. It looks better and has polyps so I think something in the other tank had to have been bothering it. I will be curious to hear what you decide to do. Cris
  6. My leather has been doing the exact same thing as yours and its coloring was off-I moved it's placement in the tank and tried a couple of other things. Nothing helped. I moved it to a different tank two days ago and now the polyps are coming back out again. I am thinking something in my other tank was bothering it. Cris
  7. I have been on a few of them too. I signed up for women and reefing but my daughter was here, so I missed it. I am going to sit in on seahorse and pipefish at 6:00
  8. I am pretty sure I am going to register
  9. So cool Dave-I have always wanted an octopus. I just haven't had the confidence to get one.
  10. Hi Dave, Hope you and your family are doing well and thanks so much for answering. Yikes, he has always been great but maybe I better rehome him to someone with a bigger tank. He is about 4 inches and I would hate him to eat his tank mates. Hope to see you at a meeting one day when it is safe. Cris
  11. Hi, I have a Humu that is about 31/2-4 inches long. I have had him since he was tiny. He is not aggressive to tank mates except snails and hermit crabs. I have read that as they get older they can get very aggressive. My tank is 120 gallons and there are fish much smaller than him that he has never bothered. Anyone ever have a bad experience with this fish as it got older? I would hate to have to rehome it. Thank you for any advice
  12. I really like this idea-I would be interested. Thank you

Just want to say thanks to John. Went in to get one fish and ended up with a couple more. Thanks for all your help John! Cris
  14. Dan said that they have a couple of hybrids that their daughter raised and that one of them bred a couple of months ago. This is the only confirmed case that he knows of this particular mix breeding. He also wrote that that he has heard reports that the H. erectus along Brazil are more colorful than those in North America and there is some speculation that they have interbred with H. reidi. I did get two and they are arriving tomorrow. I'll post pictures.
