  1. Any one know anything about the Orphek Atlantik V4? Currently I am using a fixture with 2X250watt Metal Halides and about 50 mix of different spectrum of blue leds from Rapid LEDs. I am considering switching to the Orphek Atlantik. But I am a bit hesitant. I hear people switching to LEDs and then switching back. BRS did a review, which also included par numbers. If some one could take a look at this review and tell me what they about this being over a 120gal tank with SPS, I would appreciate it.
  2. I am interested in hearing your experience with them. Especially with SPS. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  3. I used rapid LEDs and metal heat sink that I then attached with adhered with thermal 2 part epoxy. You can also buy the seat sink from amazon and just cut to size. The rapid leds are aquarium grade and come in all spectrums.
  4. Welcome to the group. We are here to help. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. There is a wealth of knowledge in this group. Reef keeping will/may seem overwhelming in the begining. You will be learning about tank cycling, equipment, chemistry, and so much more. We are here to assist.
  5. Or you could use one of these. https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Powerline-TL-PA7010-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B07D2LM7PP/ref=sr_1_21?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1532642093&sr=1-21&keywords=powerline+network This is what I use. You can get them cheaper at Microcenter in Fairfax.
  6. Sorry to hear that your health is not allowing you to continue with the hobby. I love that you listed the amount of cope-pods you have.
  7. I would really appreciate you letting me borrow your PAR meter. I’m trying to figure out the intensity of my LED lights. When would I be able to get it?
  8. Does anyone have a PAR meter I can borrow?
  9. I have a Super Reef Octopus SRO 2000 INT that I will likely have to replace the pump on. A new pump will cost me around $229. I am very happy with the skimmer. Is there something better out there. My tank is 120 gallons light to medium stocked. If I switch to something else, it will likely be another Reef Octopus.
  10. It has one foot but 2 separate mouths
  11. Even though it is still one anemone with “2 heads”. I researched that and I found that sometimes an anemone starts to split and stops and that is how that happens. Does that sound right?
  12. I figured I would post an updated picture to see if anyone can tell what it is now that it has grown. Any ideas on what kind of anemone? Good or bad?
  13. I believe from what I have read and videos I saw on YouTube, the TG-4 is capable of using different lenses as well. Olympus sells several that are made specifically for the TG cameras. But since asking you that question I have joined a TG owners group on Facebook and they have said you can buy other brands at a cheaper price. https://youtu.be/BorOy6i9MOs Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

  16. Awesome pics. I will definetley buy the tg-5. Do you know anything about using other lenses with it?
  17. I am thinking of buying one. I currently have a GoPro 5 but also want something that takes decent pictures. Looking for feedback.
  18. Anyone able to be on standby while I am on vacation? I will be gone from June 11th-20th. My neighbor has access and general knowledge of my tank. But if something major goes wrong and she needs help I am looking for someone to be on standby. I am reachable by phone but will not always have my phone on me as I will be in the water most of the time.
  19. Thanks for the reply. This is what I am looking for.
  20. Thanks Dave. This is what I am looking for.
  21. i looked at the Ice Cap Smart Fans. They seemed to get mixed reviews. I figured I could get something with a better price and hook up to my Apex.
  22. What cooling fans do you use for your light canapies? A link would be great. I have seen some but not sure what power supply to use.
  23. I have had mine for about 9 months with no issues to coral. It did eat a sexy shrimp.
  24. Probe is brand new. Yes, I have tried power cycling. Will try again.
  25. I would think that you could get a replacement driver a rapidled
