www.mediabaskets.com order the skimmer cup to fit in your tank. add chemipure elite and you'll be fine. The key to nanos and picos are staying up on WC's and topoff. Chemipure is basically high grade carbon and gfo or granular ferrios oxide.

as far as rots. Are you grow rots for the babies? do you even have babies yet or are they just showing courting behavior? You need to make sure that you have enough pods for them first.

Nah keep the 1, i had a 1 and 2 in a 26 gal. the clown will get use to it. Try repositioning it to see if that helps

bump it up to a 5.5 gal tank. 2.5 is still small as even the smaller mantis shrimp will grow. I have seen people keep softies in there such as zoas and mushrooms. Make sure you have enough sand for him to burrow.
