  1. good deal, stock slowly and due weekly water changes. nano and picos are cool. I've kept both in the past 2 years, I now have a 5.5 gal in my daughters room.
  2. I just saw that mediabaskets wont be taking any new orders for a month or so due to them moving locations.
  3. www.mediabaskets.com order the skimmer cup to fit in your tank. add chemipure elite and you'll be fine. The key to nanos and picos are staying up on WC's and topoff. Chemipure is basically high grade carbon and gfo or granular ferrios oxide.
  4. checkout nano-reef.com. A couple of people on there have done the biorb tanks. Most take them down due to cleaning etc.
  5. Some new stuff added. Green yuma Green Palu Nepthea leather Yellow figi leather Pink devil's hand leather Red mushie Pics of my onyx clowns starting to show their black I also added a pink bar goby/pistol shrimp pair, however they decided to make their burrow in the back of the tank.
  6. good deal, get some decapsulated brine shrimp eggs and be prepared to hatched them when they do.
  7. as far as rots. Are you grow rots for the babies? do you even have babies yet or are they just showing courting behavior? You need to make sure that you have enough pods for them first.

dont get teh squamosa. They get BIG like over a foot. Shoot for a crocea or maxima.
  9. pro coral care and coral revive. though they wont kill fw or RB.
  10. look whos talking, now fork up some minis
  11. Its up and running, I torn down two tanks and merged them into one. Im pretty happy with how the rocks islands turned out.
  12. some gobies would be cool, neon green banded, rusty, or masked.
  13. So I decided to cut down on some tanks, as I have five going now. IM keeping the 40BR, tearing down the 15L biotope, 20L frag and NC in the basement. This will be my first AIO tank, as I have only used reg. glass tanks before. 24gal Aquapod w/ 150W Sunpod. have MJ 1200 return pump have Tunze DOC nano skimmer on the way 100W heater have RK2 have ATO have Koralia 2 ( until I can afford a MP20) have black/white mixed sand-20Lb on the way 20-25lb LR have Stocking: Pair of onyx clowns have CUC have RBTA mini anemones ( if dshnarw will share any) blue xenia have crocea clam have yellow figi leather green singularia or green nephthea mixed mushies various rics have orange plate coral have The plan is to have two rock island and the reason is the try and keep the rbta on one island so i can have corals on the other. i will be using some LS and all LR from the other tanks along with the water, so I shouldn't have a cycle. My next dilemma is use the Sunpod or use the hellolights T5 fixture I have with 2 ATI blue+, 1 ATI aquablue special, and 1 K figi purple.
  14. I dont think I would have put an eel in with to expensive fish
  15. Nah keep the 1, i had a 1 and 2 in a 26 gal. the clown will get use to it. Try repositioning it to see if that helps
  16. Tks, where is todays pet store in Frederick, never heard of that.
  17. most pico tanks are coral only with some inverts.
  18. Im looking for some pieces of tonga/figi branching rock cured or dry. Looking online I cant find any because collection has stopped for it. Wondering if anyone has seen any around at the local stores.
  19. No offense, but I could care less about what RC says. I wouldnt personally keep one in anything smaller than a 10gal.
  20. bump it up to a 5.5 gal tank. 2.5 is still small as even the smaller mantis shrimp will grow. I have seen people keep softies in there such as zoas and mushrooms. Make sure you have enough sand for him to burrow.
