triggers are hit or miss when it comes to picking on normal sized clams.... i would think that one would look like a freakin free buffet though so.... yeah Id remove it.. or not get the clown trigger and get a crosshatch instead :)

Or (here's an idea) set up a separate, aggressive tank!

oh yeah... it would be GREAT if you had a seperate 250g... with the clown, a niger, a picasso, and a bluethroat to name my favorites that i have kept in the past :)

I would not chance it with a clown trigger. It might be fine at first but one day you'll come home to an empty shell. Clowns also have a reputation for just flipping out and killing tank mates. If you have any small fish or inverts they too may become a snack.

Eventually he is going to eat at it. Maybe not for a while but instincts and him getting larger, odds are not going to be in your favor
