dcreefer January 15, 2009 Author Share January 15, 2009 Updates? Do you have it up yet? Almost ready for water! Had a small mishap with some leaks but, I've got all of those just about worked out. I am getting a new bulkhead tomorrow (for the one I had to take a Sawzall to) and if all goes well this weekend I should be filling her up and then loading her up over the next 45 days! Stay tuned, here are a couple of new Pictures. Some Plumbing Pics Sequence Barracuda

Mountaineer October 9, 2009 Share October 9, 2009 I see you decided on the Barracuda and not the Hammerhead. Any regrets? Is the Barracuda providing enough flow, too much, or right where you want it?

dschflier January 28, 2010 Share January 28, 2010 If you are still looking for sand I have a bunch left that you can have. I bagged a bunch for when I finally move and re-set up my tank but left a bunch in the back. It should be fine to use.
dcreefer January 28, 2010 Author Share January 28, 2010 (edited) I couldn't get the hood to fit, so I removed the pieces to set them up independently but, I haven't finished the lighting setup yet... Did you end up using my hood? @DS - Woohoo! Yes I'll take it!!! Thank you, thank you! Edited January 28, 2010 by dcreefer
dcreefer January 30, 2010 Author Share January 30, 2010 What do you have in your refugium? I am setting my refugium up right now and I need help with the contents. Currently I have Live rock & Carbon in it. What are the must have ingredients for a professional refugium? I have two of these sumps connected by bulk heads with a barracuda return. The second one only has one barrier coming from the bottom about 2/3rd of the way through giving me a pretty good area for refugium... In the Display I have 200lbs of live rock...(shopping for some XL Display Pieces if you have any)
