Well, the only time I saw them being mean was when they wanted a larger house. So, I went to Michael's and bought all natural shells. I boiled them and put them in the tank. Since then, they are peaceful. Oh, and they change their house often.

While I was over at Rebecca's house the other day, I got to see her tank setup and all the supporting equipment and tanks. We talked about livestock for a bit and so, I've worked a bit on my list again. I am going from two fishless tanks to a 75 gallon in which I want fish and critters... Ok, I do have 1 fish added not too long ago. I have, so far, on my list: Powder Brown Tang 3 Blue Reef Chromis 2 Neon Blue (Cleaner) Goby Bullet Goby Scooter Dragonet ( My one fish which was sold to me as a Scooter Blenny. It eats frozen foods. ) Red Feather Duster 6 Sexy Shrimp (Have these already) 2 Cleaner Shrimp (Have 1 of these) 2 Peppermint Shrimp (Have these already) Emerald Crab (Have it already) Pom Pom Crab Scarlet Hermits Blue Hermits 2 - 3 Clams (Already have 2) 1 Harlequin starfish (Have it already) Thoughts?

Yes, they will eat that too. But, as Dave pointed out, it will starve once it cleans. I feed mine nori every two days to keep him fed.

Get a sand/tiger conch... it will clean that right up. I got one from Johnny at BRK and it cleans like nothing else!

Do you mean cerith baby snails don't survive? I had a ton of baby Margarita snails. A lot of them died, I am sure, from starvation. But a lot survived. A gave a bunch away and still have some in my tank. Yeah, so wondering if you just mean cerith baby snails or others too?

I also read on RC that people use floats and to asure no flood, they put their pumps on a timer so that if the switch does get stuck, there won't be a flood.
