  1. Dam! I just poured a 5th in my tank to see if that would help! Curse you!
  2. Sara, by unique I just meant 3' X 2' X 2' rather than the common 4' X 18" X 2'. Steve, I will look into that. dschflier, I hope to hear from Jeff. Thanks folks
  3. Anyone else? Any other source of that size tank; acrylic or glass? I can't seem to get ahold of NAGA by phone or PM. Thanks
  4. Be afraid when you go to bed at night and feel a tug on your blanket and see a wet trail leading from your sump and all you hear is a clicking sound... be very afraid! click click click ...
  5. Here's a link to it at Marine Depot Anyone using these? Comments? Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum, I was looking for "Ask the Vendors"
  6. Thanks folks. I contacted GC a while back and asked a few questions and yes, they were rude. I've heard good and bad as-well. Kinda scarry. Actually, I've been trying to contact NAGA to no avail. I am experienced with acrylic so that's not an issue.
  7. 3' X 2' X 2'. Reef Ready. Approximately 90 gallons. I believe Glass Cages has one but I'm not sure about these guys. I believe HowardOfNOVA has a nice acrylic custom one but I don't know if NAGA would be interested. Any other sources. Any comments on Glass Cages? Thanx
  8. Thanks Tim. Good advice. The pump ran dry several month ago and fused like a car engine with no oil I can mail-order from Champion Lighting but I wanted to see if any local places carried them.
  9. They're kinda neat little filter feeders. Cousins to the big georgeous Hawaiian feather dusters you see for sale.
  10. I'm going to go home and measure and see which model I have but I believe it's an ASM and the old pump was trashed so I need to find a vendor of the Sedra needlewheel pumps?. I also need to see if it will fit in my little sump.
  11. Very nice! NAGA does great work. I really like viewing from multiple sides. I also like the short-n-fat, kinda like me
  12. More curious than anything. I'll be an empty-nester in the near future and would like to plan what to replace my kids furniture with I like uncommon tanks.
  13. I believe I read somewher tha Calafo used to (or still does) dump Kalc right into his large systems sump; not that I would do that with a small system.
  14. Still have the Cheato & Cap. I've given-away a few pieces but have plenty more. I'll be home tonight (Tues 28th) if you can stop-by between 7 & 10. 9743 Manassas Forge Drive Manassas, VA call if coming h 703-335-9775 or c 703-869-0039
  15. I'm home right now for anyone that can stop-by Manassas. The Cap is just too big and must be fragged and the cheato is growing like a... well... weed. I have to dispose of both if no-one want to take some. Call 703-335-9775 if you can come-by soon.
  16. I can't come to the BRK social tomorrow, I'll be at a wedding reception. If anyone wants to come-by this evening (Friday) I'll be here. Call first 703-335-9775 or 703-869-0039.
  17. This must be the easiest SPS to keep. Put it up high in your relatively low-light tank and it will do fine. Folks, I just gave-away two pieces and have several more to go. Larry
  18. If anyone wants a frag of Montipora Capricornis and/or some spaghetti cheato and can stop-by my place in Manassas some evening it's free. Several to go. Call ahead, 703-335-9775. The Monti Cap is green with white edges and was originally a frag from Quazi's tank. Very easy to mount and care for. If I had a frag tank I'd mount pieces in little rocks and sell them Larry
  19. I have two buckets about 3/4 used. 1) Does this stuff have a shelf-life? 2) Moisture has gotten in there and I need a chisle to get it out. Is it still OK you think? Thanx
  20. I know this group is full of clowns, I mean clown fish experts, so I thought I'd ask. I don't know my clowns very well. I think I have a false perc. How can I tell a false perc from a true perc? He does have a fairly thick black border between the orange and white. Would I have a problem if I put a fale and a true by accident in the same tank? Would dit be like that classic episode of Star Treck where the Half-Black-half-white guys kept fighting? I got the fish at BRK over 1 year ago if that helps. I'm at work; no pics.
  21. I hate it when that happens!
  22. Thanks folks, I guess I'll open it to get to the endcaps. Bob, you may be hearing from me for advice, fello manassaholian
  23. This is the fixture I have over my 65. It came with my used tank so warranty is out of the question. Two of the inner-4 bulbs keep going-out. I pull the fixture and crank the bulbs and they work until the timer cycles. I'm no electrician, should I try to open the fixture and fix it? I suppose new endcaps would do it but I don't know. Any advice would be appreciated.
