Welllllll, I finally just set-up my new 75 with live rock and hooked-up my RemoraPro with a Mag3. I'm not trying to campare it to the Aerofoamer bbut on a 75 it seems to do the trick. I went to clean the wast cup an decided to the tho old deep-sniff test :p :( nuff said

Thanks for the reply Mike. 2'! Good grief! I guess if one of my dogs disappears I know where to look :p At first it didn't look alive but it started to move. I put it in my tank and it dug in. I feel pretty sure he's a good-guy inhabitant.

Sorry I didn't get a picture. I was moving sand from my old PITA acrylic tank to my new 75 and I scooped-up a big fat wormlike creature. It lived in the sand and didn't have bristles like a big bristle worm. It is light grey-tan colored. When contracted, it was maybe 4" and part was as think as my pinky-finger. It could elongate and thin-out to apparantly burrow into the sand. Maybe a cuke of some-kind?

I have inherited a Yellow Tail Damselfish Chromis xanthurus. I am in the process of setting-up a 75 gallon reef and I'd like to put the one little guy in there. Other fish are a pair of tomato clowns Amphiprion frenatus, a pajama cardinal Sphaeramia nematoptera, (soon to be a few) and I'd also like to add 1 tang in the near future. I know that they're mean but I wonder if a 75 with hiding places would be OK. He's currently in another small tank. He will-not be destroyed if I decide not to put him in there. Your opinions would be appreciated.

Hey John, As you know, I'm no SPS expert but I have a frag of green slimer acro (Acropora yongei) and it's doing great under my 13-month old bulbs. It's very hardy and colorful. Put your shrooms and the like in shady spots.

And if I had the space and the money, I'd have a nice big ATS but I have neither so.....

This is also not a flame but the DSB and Plenum seem to be quite different. Every so often you hear of a well-established healthy tank crashing for no reason. I wish someone had some stats stating whether these were DSBs of Plenum systems.

Hey Brian, many will disagree with me and I'm mostly LPS & softy with 1 SPS (Green slimer). I'd go with 2 250W 10kk bulbs like the USHIO or Aqualine and use the Icecap to run 2 or 4 URI's. If you used 4 URI actinics you could use Isaki 6.5kk bulbs which are a big bang for the buck. Just some thoughts.
