Alright Dave,
how about this one?

But I'm moronic. Would any of these be usable in DIY Kalk Reactor?

Carl,
Pick up this book:

The most comprehensive clownfish book on the market IMO.

I've got a few holes in my pipes as well. Good thing I'm a renter :D .
Just kidding. I'll make sure to patch the copper pipes with a bit of electical tape when I leave.
I've got the same unit, but with the storage tank.
Works well enough. A bit of a leak, but a very slow leak. I just keep a large pot under the unit and I empty the pot every few months.

Time to replace my 150W DE bulb. I've been using a 10k over my 42 hex w/150W VHO actinic supplementation. I mostly keep LPS with a few RBTAs and a maxima that is about 6" under the water's surface. I'm looking to get into echinos/challices and I'm looking for a color combination to really make the colors pop. My options:

scroll down to see.
I wouldn't do anything under 10k and I wouldn't do 20k.
So... pretty much anything in between. Recommendations?

I've had a few species of flatworms in my tanks... including the dreaded red planaria. These guys appear to be the harmless variety that never approach anything like plague proportions. Do a search on RC... Dr. Ron Shimek talks about these guys. Says that they don't live long in captivity though I've had them in my system for a few years.
