I finally caved and bought the $1 a gallon (actually $99 dollar) 75g at Petco. Now I need to make the stand. We've gotten the 2x4s and plan on following the popular plan. Just wanted to check if others had suggestions or lessons learned that we should watch out for. I'm hoping to fit it with fancy doors from Ikea.

Definitely don't pull the anemone off the rock. Just more stress. If you want a better response try reef to reef and tag #reefsquad @amoo and @orionN both experts with anemones. They might recommend removal and Cipro but you still have to acclimate nem to right salinity I think, can't just dump in .25. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. Here's an updated picture of each tank. Let's just say I don't have a clown harem anymore. A bunch of them were sick right after I got them. Very bummerific.
