  1. Awesome! I'm also a huge fossil fan. I almost did another major on geology in undergrad!
  2. I'd definitely be interested in some hammers Milton. I have a new tank I'm setting up and it would be fun to have a colony to add. Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  3. Wow what a project! Any updates? Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  4. Hey everyone, I'm buying @bk_markets tank and need help moving it from Arlington to Kensington/Rockville area. Can anyone volunteer to help on either side of the move? I also need the suction cups from the club picked up from Leesburg if anyone would be coming from there to Arlington. Thanks in advance! Pizza, Beer (or other tank related favors in the future) provided! Would also really appreciate help with setting up the plumbing on my end. Aiming to do this likely next weekend, but this weekend we're home too if anyone can help.
  5. I can say with no certainty but much conviction, it was the pistol. I lost 4 yellow watchman gobies to mine, as well as possibly a small hippo tang and anthias. Once I got him out, hmm fish stopped dying....
  6. I want the deep blue shallow. Can't pm you though. I think your box is full. 202-823-2392
  7. Don't you let him stop you. Petri dish away! Maybe you'll be the next author of coral diseases for LPS and softies. What kind of microscope do you need? WAMAS members could pitch in!
  8. That's interesting. What are the various antibiotics best for? Do you get them prescribed through an exotics vet?
  9. This one is GORGEOUS. is it a favia? Can you remind me what antibiotic you use and general instructions? I think you had a post about it, but I've misplaced the link. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. Beautiful. Any interest in some Haddonis? I have two I'm looking to sell.
  11. @ReefdUpdid you see this? Makes sense that you could see bits of tissue glowing with your black light in the dying coral bins!
  12. Ditto. I'd love to hear how you fought this. I've had pieces die looking like this before and they don't get better obviously without whatever treatment you're applying. Can you give us some pointers on where you get these medications and a basic method to try? Obviously wouldn't blame you if it failed (at our own risk), but I would love to have something to do against these kinds of losses.
  13. You didn't link which light so I can't comment on that, but consider p38 bulbs like Kingbo reef lights on Amazon. I have 4 over my 75. Only thing i would worry about is penetration with a deep tank. But I've kept every kind of coral with those lights. They are about $26 each Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Awesome do you have a video? Not sure on fertilization. Some corals do full little baby coral and others need fertilization. I bet if you do a little googling on your variety the info is out there. Coral lab or something similar had a video on this at the mini MACNA, archived online i think
