  1. Morning! BRS have a video that would be of interest in your decision. I was running 2 x Blue+, 1 x Actinic, 1 x Purple +. I do run hybrid T5 with LEDs and that bulb combination has the "color" that I want with the Modified AB+ I have with the Radions.
  2. LOVE IT! Can't wait to get my hands on one!
  3. Thanks Chuck. I'm a bit shy to show my horrible plumbing job. I got some frag tanks but I want to see if I can build rock structures for them. I'm not a fan of just frag tanks. Looking into shelf rocks or possibly have AquaRocks build something cool?
  4. We are officially moved in! Our home in Glen Burnie sold within 3 days on the market so that was super nice!!! Unfortunately, the move did not go as well as planned. We had a lot of issues that arise in the new home that delayed bringing the corals and fish over and force me to neglect the temporary tank in the old house. The lack of attention and instability of the system caused a lot of my corals to die off. The unfortunate results of moving. Sometimes, regardless of how much planning you do, things happen that is out of your control. When you hit your low, that's when you see the generosity and beauty of the folks in our community. I had a lot of good-hearted folks both on WAMAS and outside help me through the struggle these past few months. I don't think I would have stay in this hobby without them. From helping me babysit some corals, set up the system, the plumbing, to fixing my electrical, to giving me so many corals to help rebuild my tank. Thank you so much @Modbox360 @JJKK@jhOU@telegraham @PupChow @LiVEWiRE @RW09903 @scott711@Llemonz If I miss someone, I am really sorry. I am trying to best to remember everyone's WAMAS username I recently sent in an icp-analysis test to see what my RODI water is like since I switched to well water. There seems to be a lot of extra stuff. I might send in an extra test for the RODI and one for the water right out of the faucet to see if there is a big difference and weather or not I need to add additional filtration. I'm currently using a BRS 7-stage. RODI water from well water Test from my reef atm
  5. Very nice! You guys make me feel ashamed to post my plumbing job
  6. Hey! Sorry I completely forgot to answer your question! I'll pm you later today.
  7. what a cutie. If my husband wasn't so anti-cat, I would prob end up with 10. Sorry to hear about your rental situation. That was our worst nightmare when we had a rental. We ended up selling it last year while the price was high. It's a lot of pressure off our shoulder.
  8. WHAT?!?!?! why do I keep thinking you are in VA We can both be honorary cool kids?
  9. wow .... really awesome to see all the pictures of the progress. All the cool folks are in NOVA .... I want to be an honorary member ...
  10. Forgot to vote. I would stick with the 80. I like the lower profile tank. 4ft and 4ft ....
  11. Wait ... running it through the puppy? Seems cruel ...
  12. Congratulations! I need to keep up with social more, I'm missing out on all the good stuff.
  13. thanks. gotcha. Yeah, was hoping for something I can just do at home. Don't want to have to transport it places. My husband is going to weld the stand.
  14. What is a cheaper alternative to coat a steel stand? I was looking into powder coating but the pricing has gone up super high. I had another person recommend epoxy paint but is that a good long term alternative? Any suggestion appreciated. Thank you.
  15. Anyone know what parts I need to get to plumb the Red Sea Max S500 to an external sump? Want to divert the overflow drain somewhere else other than the stand. Thank you. https://www.redseafish.com/aquarium-systems/max-aquarium-systems/red-sea-max-s-series/ Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  16. I had the seneye mainly for the purpose of measure par but ended up selling it. I really dislike the fact that it needs to be connected to the computer. Every time I measure, I have to lug the laptop a long. Ended up just getting a used Apogee. Apogee is much more convenient to share the par meter around too. Rarely do I actually touch the par meter unless I get a new light. WAMAS has par meter rental for paid members if all you need is to measure your par once in a while
  17. Yea, would be nice if the boat was mine [emoji16]. Doggies will love the yard. I really like how long it is so we can play ball. The home is actually smaller than what we have now so the intention is to add an ADU later on so fhe extra yard is def needed. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  18. The Fish Shed is coming a long. I ended up using Fiberglass insulation and green drywall. Still need to install the waterproof vinyl and paint the walls. The ductless minisplit will have to wait until the electrical issue is fix [emoji53]. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
