What Doug said ^^ I also just thought of something else. Cash is best! Some vendors would give you better prices if you pay in cash so they don't have to pay the fees on card or paypal. Cash is also great when you want to stick to a budget. I tend to go overboard when it is convenient to swipe a card or pay with paypal.

The word is that the second day is better for the bargain hunters as vendors want to sell their stock cheaper so they don't have to take the corals back. First day for folks looking for special pieces so they want first dibs.

Wow, it's been a while since I updated this. I am over the mushroom phase. Went all in and got bored quickly. I only keep a couple now. One is a HUGE one I got from Eric and the other from Mok-Yi. The Red Sea E500 is doing well. Finally back to full vibrancy from the mini crash last year. I am still focusing on bringing out the colors of some of these SPS. The nutrients continues to be high (Nitrate ~25, phosphate 0.7), but I am currently trying out the Tropic Marin NP from using NoPOx. Will see how it does long term.

wow I haven't seen this one. Seems like some stuff are a bit outdated. Some I would NEVER do (i.e. getting crud from the LFS .... I would rather get something from a hobbyist I trust).

As a clarification, I do not dose my tank with cipro although I know some that has. I use it more of a dip.

In high concentration of cipro, it is a controlled substances that's why most of the time you will see them requiring a prescription. I get the OTC one from chewy https://www.chewy.com/fish-aid-antibiotics-ciprofloxacin/dp/185215. I used this mostly to treat mushroom with good success but have never tried it on LPS or SPS before.
