  1. What he said ^ Can't stress enough about how crappy traffic is here. You can almost guarantee traffic will take you twice as long during rush hour as normal. Minimum. I myself moved from the midwest and had to deal with that adjustment, but I lived in a small town.
  2. Good news is Maryland isnt too far away and they do a lot of medical research there. Im sure it wont take long for you to find something. I saw you mentioned Chicago. Is that the part of the midwest you're from? As for the tank, a nps tank would be cool. Saw someone one r2r just won tank of the month with one.
  3. Welcome! Yup. Thats what it looks like. If you have questions about removing them, there are tons a resources on here.
  4. Sounds like it's going to be a fun project! Looking forward to it being finished.
  5. Youre lucky you found it. I had one do that once and thought it was a goner. Found a colony like a month later.
  6. looks like smohr123's has a second head started already and its not even in his tank yet.
  7. Also Im sure the added stress to an already stressed and sick fish probably isnt good for the recovery.
  8. Is a goby too peaceful for the damsels?
  9. I typically see grow out threads have 2 threads. One is for check ins only, and the other is for conversation and friendly trash talking. lol
  10. I can give you handfuls of algae. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I think theres a member here that had theirs in a tub for like a year. I've never done it myself but im assuming you treat it just like a tank but its in the tub. Hopefully someone else chimes in with details.
  12. is there enough for the conch to eat in there? The tank looks really clean.
  13. Both are good options but I feel with option a you do risk scratching stuff up. Ive seen people keep all their tanks inhabitants in brute tubs also. Some have even done it for an extended period of time.
  14. +1 I've also read that the palytoxin doesn't just vary from species to species like most people think, but also within the same colony. You could have never had an issue before with a species in the past in there might be one polyp that is more toxic than the others.
  15. im curious about BA. I think I will find out soon. My tank is an algae garden.
  16. This is the only other photo I was able to get. I sat for a while and it never came out when I moved it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
