  1. I was never able to see it out of its shell so I have no clue what it looked like. :\
  2. hahaha. I am thinking its a cerith with a growth after more inspection. It seemed the whelks had a larger opening in the shell for the snail.
  3. Anthias seem to fit right in right away.
  4. Here a pretty good index with images. https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/fish-disease-index-pictorial-guide.199/
  5. I was thinking about doing the same, but with the success of it the other, I figured I would try lower dose first.
  6. The guys on r2r use 5mg per liter. The person in this thread is doing 5mg per gallon and has had success.
  7. I'm hoping to treat Bryopsis and hair algae. I have some bubble algae too so we will see if it works with that. In the FAQ section it said they dont know if it treats it or not being most people are also using other methods to attach BA. I am not so I figured my tank would be a good test case. Currently no corals so my tank is a good test case I think.
  8. That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure of the proper dosage, but it seems like 5mg / gal is working.
  9. Do your anemone crabs attack your clown fish? I heard they can. I was thinking about getting one for my anemone but then read that.
  10. I read in the r2r thread its 5mg / L not gal. Is this a typo or did you really dose so low?
  11. If I can find it when I get home tonight Ill try and get a better picture.
  12. I know it's not a great picture. I noticed the snail on my overflow right when I was leaving the house after lunch. A fellow reefer thinks it might be a whelk but wasn't 100% sure, so I figured I'd get another opinion. It's shell looked oddly shaped to me. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Bummer. The link isn't working for me this morning.
  14. Tanks only have issues while we are gone. It's the curse of the hobby.
  15. I think I'm going to give this a try here soon. Bryopsis is getting out of control in my tank.
  16. If you can't find the answer youre looking for here, I know over on r2r they have a pretty large lionfish community.
  17. Might be a good time to have a lights off period and big water changes to remove the released nutrients. If your rocks are leaching nutrients it wont be enough time though.
  18. Most of the stuff I've seen is like a liquid or something. I've never fed my corals because I already have a nutrition export issue.
  19. Ah. For some reason I was picturing thunder dome or something. "Only the strong will survive"
  20. Might want to frag off a piece of each to test. Just in case they dont behave and attach each other.
  21. With all that rock, it might be fun to try your hand at chiseling some caves. I tried with mine but instead just cracked the rock in half.
  22. I think he said hes seeding with rock from his 90. I may be wrong though.
