Been running for 3 days now and water is crystal clear for sure and less algae on the glass. If it helps keep disease at bay thats good enough for me. Ive never had a disease problem anyways but a little preventative measures surely wont hurt

Gotta choose reliability or coolness. Vectra is cool but in no way will come close to the reliability of a 1262.

Yes. You can use to much and completely strip the water. I ended up having to dose po4 for almost a year to get my tank balanced out.
