  1. I think I found them There ordered so we will see
  2. Alan there bulkhead system is weird. Its like a sandwich plate with 3 bulkheads. So in essence of one breaks you have to replace whole thing. But I dont even thing thats available
  3. I've tried to find the bulkhead size with no luck
  4. There definitely metric which is why I'm in a bad situation I dont believe they sell these as replacement parts. I know people recieve cracked tanks often and red sea sends a replacement and you trash the old tank. Hoping to find something like that where I could get the fittings. Aside from that not sure what options I have. There is absolutely no way this didn't leak for previous owner.
  5. So I picked up the red sea reefer 450 that was on here recently. Trying to setup today and it keeps leaking at the bulkhead. So after researching it appears that there are no nuts on the bulkhead assembly to pull the bulkheads tight so it had to be leaking. I know plenty of people have had tanks show up cracked and they send replacements. Hoping I can find someone who might have one laying around with the 3 bulkhead nuts on it. It doesn't appear you can but them and without those nuts I can't do anything. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Attached some pics to show the nuts are missing Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Honestly, I just pour some in until water is milky and dip 8 minutes. Not sure exact measurements
  7. I use the new one. In my experience it's no different from a dipping perspective.
  8. Now I'm definitely lost. You turned the feed pump off and the ph in reactor went up ??
  9. What are your high and low set points
  10. I just went through the same thing a few days ago where my ph in reactor was rising. So I turned the co2 up a bit. But a while back I had to go from 6.5 low point to 6.2 low point as I wasn't keeping up either. Basically same exact thing. Tom has taught me a tremendous amount on reactor control. He's brilliant when it comes to this stuff
  11. For what its worth, my ph low point on mine is 6.2 because I needed it to melt faster to keep up. I wouldn't do that yet in your case, but try the above first. Reason for that is you say you're set at 6.4 but reactor ph stays at 6.5 That tells me its not enough time do to flow rate. Or if your using a carbon doser valve turn it down a tiny bit to allow more co2 in at a faster rate to get reactor ph down
  12. Is the effluent rate so fast that your not giving enough time for the media to melt? I would try to slow the effluent a bit retest the dkh in 24 hours and see where its at.
  13. Trying to id this algae so I can get specific clean up crew. Its odd and different. Looks like mini leafs and occasional string of it. Its only in my chaeto very little and on sandbed in New frag tank I set up. But all tied to the main system. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. Sulphur reactor is great for about a year then mine went south real quick. I took them completely off Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  15. New territory for me. In 12 years I've never had this. My coral seems to be a bit pale. Do you dose anything, feed coral, etc.
  16. Finiship is marco great rates Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  17. No, that's not even close but thank you
  18. pretty sure its the cherry corals majic mushroom. Just doesnt have the fluorescent green likely from being in high light
  19. Better pics Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. Pretty sure its a magic carpet mushroom but wanted some opinions Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. I bought this a few years ago and don't remember what it was. Its as big as my hand 6 to 7 inches across. Multi color. Ive never seen anything like it and certainly never seen something this big. Its clearly like bounce etc meaning it doesn't reproduce on its own. So guess it has to be cut like the others. Been contemplating selling it as im not a mushroom keeper but honestly don't know its worth. Nor what it is. Any ideas Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. I have the theiling rollermat. I've had it for years. I love it. Ill never use socks again Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. Do you have a good online link you recommend for dosing instruction using vodka
  24. I'm definitely considering it. I've never had a low nutrient system and ultimately I just want to try having low nitrates but I've never been able to achieve that. Even with 2 monster sulphur reactors I could never get below 15. Also for the record I have auto water change set at 10 gallons a day.
