  1. Gfo reactor...u can get dual stage ones for carbon and gfo Don't know if u want to do bio pellets What about Dosing...what method are u planning for that
  2. What size is it
  3. So here is what I was thinking of ...any suggestions..probably a week between each batch maybe 2 depending on load and size. Batch 1 1) pink spotted watchman goby and pistol together. 2) neon goby ...getting this for the tangs really for later on. 3) 2 cleaner shrimp 4) pyramid butterfly Batch 2 1) bartlets anthias (2 females and 1 male) 2) Yellow corris wrasse 3) if I dont go with anthias at all then I will add the pyramid butterfly here in batch 2 4) clam 2 inches blue either maxima or corcea Batch 3 1) Powder blue tang 2) blonde naso tang ...both tangs similar sized and preferably on the smaller side.
  4. I'm gonna go for it and introduce it with a pbt together...
  5. i saw urs Jan when i came over for the food...which reminds me i will need to replenish my stock soon of ur awesome food..the coral loved ur food too...they would open up and swing around with all arms but yea thats when i was like ..."i want that fish"! Thx Trock...i figured 1 bad shouldn't let me negate all the other good...
  6. thanks for info...don't want to support a market where cyanide poisoning is enouraged...ill leave this species be ..and go for with a wallpaper =D
  7. ive heard that regal's are hard to keep and the vast majority die because they are fussy eaters. is this true for the species in general or is it because they are caught by poisoning and other poor methods in parts where they are caught i also read that ones caught in the maldives are usually fine...does that mean they are not fussy eaters... just tryin gto gauge if its the species or region that dictates survivability and adaptation the reef tank
  8. would a blonde naso be ok in a 135 cube I plan on having a 2nd tang as well (either PBT or Purple or Yellow)
  9. Sad to see so much loss...what's ur ammonia at...keep an eye on things...
  10. Did anything change ...did u do a water change or something Was it feeding before Are the other fish acting normal It's odd
  11. I need to get a new wrasse... And really liked having a melanarus ...but the coris looks similar..just wondering if its as safe as a melanarus
  12. Just getting some b11s and azoo as well
  13. for the generator its also best to let it run dry when stored for a long time so u dont run into the evil gum issue with stale fuel +1 for the Auto on battery air pump...def a must...something so simple can save so much
  14. I share ur pain
  15. Thanks for all the support all... Not sure which way I am going but I want to thank all of u for the support If I do stick through this it's cause this community is so good. No power yet but the generator is keepin the tank running and he 4 clowns and the Lps are all looking good The Sps is pretty wiped out...but I'll keep it in incase it can recover Sunday blues
  16. What did u usually keep it at Do u have a backup reading for the temp incase the first is off I would say 83 plus is starting to be higher than desirable I've had things in bad days at 82 as well and no loss
  17. 80-81 isn't too bad I used to run a biocube at 80
  18. I didnt think I'd be doing this but after going through recent events I find myself unfit for this hobby. Just not able to justify not knowing simple things which lead to loss of aquatic life I am going to let some of the coral recover a bit before posting more details but I plan on putting up my tanks hardware and livestock (what's left) for sale Here is rough list of hardware... I'll wait n see how the livestock does before adding their info 135 cube rimless dual overflow back middle Radion 2 Mp40esw 2 Atb 840 skimmer with new pump and spare backup pump Return pump idk but looks like a red dragon very quiet Ato Apex aquacontroller With 1 8 plug module jr version Acrylic sump 2 stage reactor with eheim pump Lots of other things I'll list later It's been fun and I wish everyone the best
  19. Oh my... That's horrible...I can't imagine how dreadful that is Yes please let us know if u need something
  20. Thx for the support... Sry but I just need to vent
  21. It's the Emotional element that's bad ... Being responsible for ur pets The wrasse I've had for 6 years probably among my first few fish
  22. Yes pellets on an auto feeder But I saw the fish puffed up or with their mouths open and at the bottom Makes me think oxygen... I saw them swimming around at 6pm And I finally got a generator hooked up by 11pm I didn't see in between ... I have 4 clowns that survived and looks like most o the Lps and zoas are ok All the snails seem fine The Sps looks bad and bleached... But I'll leave it in incase they decide to recover Just so darn bummed about maybe something as simple as churning water could have saved the few fish who were so happy and healthy Ignorant p#*!k
  23. My temp were at about 75 So did everything die because of no oxygen I didnt think that would be the cause ... If I had only checked ... That jut makes me feel a lot worse
  24. Turned the lights up and many coral look dead too Will see how it goes
  25. Very sad to hear... In the same boat I images of some of the dead fish is just sickening I wish I wouldn't have waited and opted for temporary placement ... I Can't help but feel responsible but in a bad way
