  2. I think that's it ... Now I need to get a Mexican turbo or tuxedo urchin Thx all
  3. Cool thanks...my snails seem to ignore it... I don't quite like the look of it...so I guess I'll siphon it out from time to time
  4. It's like sticky little hairy stuff...sticking to the rubble
  5. No they don't retract...def not aphasia...I siphoned them out anyway...kept them in a seperate area incase they are good.
  6. I am seeing this increase in my sand bed It looks like the ring around zoas...but it's random on the sand ...without the zoa head Is it bad ...good...dunno what to do... I can remove them when I do a water change
  7. I think these are usually found attached to larger fish as cleaners...
  8. saw it last evening....very cool indeed...i wish the swimming lagoon tub was still there too =D
  9. I really like my melanarus too...had him over 4 years now...I got a frag a few weeks ago and he ate a giant worm off it that even a dip in Revive did not get rid off. Plus he is not at all aggressive to any fish...even other wrasse I have...I have seen him bite at a snail...who was upside down and trying to flip with all their fleshy part visible... But that's about it .
  10. thanks all...i will get a FTS this week Ryan..
  11. took some new pics with my new cam
  12. My atb 840 is very quiet...and it's rated upto 250g
  13. It's pretty easy to change at the plug end...but I always thought that the fuse box also needs to be prepared to be gfci compliant for it to work correctly.... I may be wrong but maybe Mike or someone can answer that accurately Mine labelled for gfci at all circuit boxes so I just had to swap the regular power outlet for a gfci one.
  14. The only problem I've had with an adaptor is that sometimes during a surge it doesn't restore power. The in wall gfci works fine after a power blip
  15. RYan I am using this in my sump as a drop in exactly as ur describing...I have the larger one for my chaeto....works perfectly http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/sumps-and-refugiums/aquarium-refugiums/cpr-in-tank-refugium.html
  16. I wouldn't go with a mp60 in that size...I think the 2 40s will perform better Plus I've heard of a lot of fish dying in 60s too How many hours do ur lights run for....do they get sunlight bleeding in during odd hours I haven't had issues with my pukani and I only cured them for a week to 10 days
  17. Thx Ryan...I should start taking close ups soon with a newer cam
  18. Thx...I keep switching things around...but yea I wanted to leave the middle more open for them to all hang out and swim
  19. Current pic
  20. And what salinity will that be at usually
  21. I forgot the number and salinity ...it's the big packet that come in the boxes tat aren't for resale individually
  22. Maybe u should setup a qt option for members here...for a smallish fee should the fish make it through the process ...I would pay for such a service Lease ur system for everyone to use ???
  23. U don't need pads or socks...infact if u don't keep up with cleaning its worse Just give it few days...mine was very cloudy for 3-4. Days I think ..it will all settle
  24. What's the tank temperature...turn the heater on to to normal operating range ...I think that helps too..
