  1. let me know if you want to trade or sell, I like them.
  2. Thanks Marco! Looks like there is some hope, today it arrived to the dc distribution center. Crossing my fingers!! In Transit, Delayed: WASHINGTON DC NETWORK DISTRIBUTION CENTER on January 18, 2018 at 12:44 pm
  3. Nah, he wanst using these lights since this was on a 66g cube he used to have. Now he is running a 4x24w with reefbrites on a 40 long.
  4. Yep, he did send me a label with that tracking number, his address and mine. Unfortunately he did not insure the package..
  5. So long story short, I found a guy who is willing to trade his ATI 8x24w for my ATI 6x24w, both are old style non led powermodule units. You would question, why would he do that? and the reason is because that light is too much for this tank and needs new reflectors. So the agreement was that he would sent me his unit and once I received it and swap it out with my tank, I would send him my unit. He sent the unit on 01/04/18 via USPS and I haven't received it yet. From the USPS tracking number (9461209699937237502692), it looks lost, tracking info has not updated for a while and most of the tracking history says "In Transit to Destination" ... Has anyone having issues with USPS recently? I sent two power inverter generators to my family in Puerto Rico and none of them made it. Fortunately I had insurance but they did not refund the shipping costs (around $125 each). Has anyone had experience in calling centers and tracking a package? I called the local PO and they just read the tracking information...
  6. Not my coral but definitely looking for a piece
  7. My guess is that the mp40s are gone?
  8. Its time to change my RODI filters, I usually change them every 6-9 months but it has been 9 months and my TDS meter reads as follows: RODI: 0 ppm RO: 6 ppm Tap water: 277 ppm I did calibrate the tds meter (tds-ez) with the 342ppm solution and all the readings where on a small clean glass jar. So the question is, should I change these filters even though the readings look good?
  9. you should contact vortech on this issue, I had my wetside replace even though my unit was out of warranty.
  10. Next level reefing right here! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I always leave the tank with a 50g fresh water supply for the ato and a cheap auto feeder that works every 12 hrs. This has worked for me in the past but this time i was trying new pellets and my guess is that since they where very small, more got introduced to the tank every time. So more food = more nitrates. I will be doing a water change today and possibly do a 2 day no lights in a week or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks!! Just came back from a 18 day vacation and tank looks terrible with lots of algae... however all sps look very well and colorful.... some corals have grown so much due to this...
  13. I also live in urbana and every now and then i stop by. In the last two years, the guy started selling frags and i was able to get some nice montiporas. He has great looking fish but i agree, the saltwater selection is limited. His focus is primarily pond related items & livestock
  14. yeah, I used it for one day, and decided to take another look. This is an old mp10es I got on a trade.. I even have to change the dry side bearings but that I knew... I guess I will spend the money on a new wet side, this one is done.
  15. You are correct... i wasnt aware of this issue myself. I guess my next step is to buy a whole new wetside.
  16. Is this very usual on mp10 vortechs? I got this mp10 on a trade but i am not sure if i got it like that or not. My guess is that it broke when i started using it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Nice, now you should split in half and trade with me xD
  18. I have a 9.5b and it has been a great pump for years! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
