I used to think expired test kits were just a ploy to get you to buy more of the product, but when I tested my mag with the same exact test kit (one expired, one not) it showed a remarkable difference!
Thank you, I was wondering about those in particular. I may go for the marine depot version. Also, I was going to try and make my own sump. They sell kits that fit right into 10 gallon tanks on Ebay.
Wondering if anyone has any experience with nano overflows. I have a 17 gallon ADA that is non-drillable. I want to use an overflow and a small 10 gallon sump. Anyone have any advice for brands they have used in the past. Just worried a bit about possible flooding........
I bought a stand from Petco for my 17 gallon. It didn't seem stable at all. I promptly returned it and bought a deep blue stand from Fantastic. It is 100x more stable. You always have the option to return it. Fantastic sells stands for your 29 gallon. I bet it wouldn't cost more than 150.
how much leeway should I give when ordering it? The tank is 11.75 by 23.5 inches. How close to that should I order the dimensions of the starboard? Thanks!
If any of you use starboard on your bare bottom tanks could you help me out? Do you use silicon to keep it from floating? I'm going to use it for a 17 gallon ADA build but honestly I don't really want to glue down the starboard. Would rocks on top be enough to keep it from floating? My main 60 gallon tank is bare bottom but I don't use starboard. Thanks.
