  1. Blood orange is also a white stripe, not a gold stripe.
  2. Matt a blood orange is a female maroon clown crossed with a oscellaris. Based on this artice the citron clown is: He revealed that 217 is the combination of 02 and 17; a hybrid cross between their CF02C4 (stardard true Amphiprion percula) and the CF17A (stardard White Stripe Maroon Clownfish, Premnas biaculeatus). So the only difference is its a perc instead of an oscellaris. This fish is basically the same as a Blood Orange.
  3. So this is the blood orange clownfish that ORA came out with a year ago. And I think SA has their own variant of this as well.
  4. Mine started laying eggs a few months back. Its so exciting to see the first few times. Now I just wish I had the time to actually raise them,
  5. Adam can definitely get you something that will work. And you can use your current setup until he gets it built for you.
  6. My 93 I go through about 2 GPD, so if he has a 120, he would be a bit more than that. So 2-2.5 GPD of evap probably. So a 5 gallon bucket would only be 2 at most 3 days, thats why I recommended it. Hopefully you can get something made, I think you will really appreciate it in the long run.
  7. So I think you are going to regret just a 5g ATO. you are going to be refilling that every couple days.
  8. You can try cleaning it, I have not had luck doing it. (replaced 4-5 fans over 2 or 3 years of having the vegas) I just ordered 4 more fans the other day just so I have them. So if you talk to them and need a fan I have one you can buy from me for whatever the cost was; assuming the vegas and sol use the same fan
  9. My Vega's do that when the fan goes bad. You just need to order a new fan more than likely.
  10. mine sometimes shrivel up like that and then a day or two later they are back to normal.
  11. It cant get into the overflow, so Im not worried there. Its a marineland 93g cube and has very small teeth going into it. So as long as the top is covered I don't see how it could get into there. Im really just worried about him jumping all the way out b/c my cat will kill that thing in a heartbeat if it hits the floor (it stalks my tank 24 hours a day, and has caught fish out of a different tank before)
  12. I want to add an eel to my fowlr, and wondering the best way to eel proof it so he doesn't escape. For the eel Im thinking either a snowflake or zebra, not 100% sure. So Im thinking of just putting some egg crate on top of the tank. Is that enough or can they still get out using egg crate? Will I need to secure the egg crate down, or weigh it down so they don't just push the egg crate out of the way? Any info will be greatly appreciated since this will be my first eel.
  13. This goes somewhere in the 220. I think I have a good spot for it.
  14. That's pretty cool. How hard is it going to be to keep
  15. until it stops bubbling a lot. 5-10 minutes, depending on how much organic stuff is on them
  16. Not as bad as you explained it to be. Or you did a really good job cleaning it up
  17. I just use muratic acid. Cleans off all the organics, and just rinse the rock afterwards and you are good to go. Quickest and easiest way I have found to do it.
  18. yup just get marco rocks prime cuts. Its exactly what you are looking for
  19. Not a fan but dont know why. I like clowns, I like betta's. Just dont seem to like them mixed together.
  20. I dont know where they are considering Bonaire. but I know both elkhorn & staghorn are there
  21. SPS you should try heading to the great barrier reef, LPS go to Fiji. Im heading to Fiji in May
  22. One of my favorite fish, and the reason why I setup a FOWLR so I can keep butterfly's w/o worrying about the corals in the reef tank. One day I will get around to actually adding more than a tang and a couple clowns in the FOWLR.
