Our Winter meeting is January 24th - you should swing by! It's a great chance to put faces with names and we usually have several vendors present (good chance to get ideas for stocking your tank). Welcome!
Great info about both the ponies and the nudibranchs! My seahorse tank has plenty of halimeda - I hadn't thought of trying to add nudibranchs to the mix.
What a great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon! I came home with several corals (some of which are Craig's - mwaa ha ha) as well as some beautiful fish! Already thinking of the fish and corals I meant to buy but forgot in the rush of bagging. Guess I'll need to go back soon…. Thank for being such great hosts!
LOL - but most are little ones, so that's okay, right? And each one is different so I get to play with different critters that I couldn't put all together in a single tank. Makes perfect sense to me…….
Why do you think I have eleven SW tanks running? Of course, it helps the wallet tremendously that only the little ones support the really cool corals…...
I never flush - if they get "too big" I throw them in the fuge. They help clean up food the fish missed - what's not to like? I only watch the population in the seahorse tank (where there are no predators) and in my little pico with the flaming prawn goby (don't want anything too big in with that tiny fish) - those I'll catch periodically and toss in other tanks. Other than that, clean away!
