Hopefully you got everything heads up I never see terrible nitrate spikes I would recomend ditching the bio balls they always hurt my tank!

Basically I havn't felt the need to lower them... honeslty never tried they don't leak that much light. They don't illuminate the floor or the front... and I can see through my tank... I might lower them some time later but I'm always in my tank don't want an accident to happen!

I had rings of fire in my tank as well as some guys from tonga that looked similar but for the life of me I can't remeber these guys... anyway I'm glad to see their still around... can't wait to get more zoo's in my tank!

Looks good are you running any kind of refguim? That would help you with your nitrates...how big is your tank?

I had a scarlet do the same thing in my nano he would leap off the rock and grab the fish.

Thank you squintin since you've seen mine I'd love to see yours...anyway my dad is watching my tank and he says the wrasse is alive and feeding off the rock...the anemoe has crawled into some rock work I think he got a little hot under the new lighting... (thanks sam) anyway zygote was right about the light, but I think the less spotligt look is better.. not even sure how I acheived it...I put 4 20k lights evenly spaced with 60 degree heads and it worked wonderful... Also I was against adding a sump .... I wanted a clean looking tank... I don't mind seeing the pumps.. anyway if your considering gettng leds from nanotuners I can say they really do work. And NO HEAT

Dorm room refigrator won't work I tried it... the cooling feature is meant to get cold and stay insulated the holes to get the water in ruin the fridge. Its much cheaper to just buy a chiller in my opinion... Or go leds that works too...either way its an expensive hobby.

I doubt that one dirty filter sock caused all those readings....what did the rock look like when you put it in. Oh and good job on the water.

Guinea pig is named peejoe and he loves the tank and yes hes hairless. There is currenlty a six line wrasse and a gbta and 3 corals.
