Ok I guess you have to look for the intent/practical purpose.... they look nice.... I had a regular led cheap 1 watt fixture grow plants, but it eventaully got wet and they weren't made to be water resistant... these ones look like they are.... so I'd be willing to give it a shot if anyone orders one can they please take pictures!

I had a money cowrie and stomatella and other snails that are algee grazers .... also had peppermints....Never once did they touch a ricodia... I've had peppermints mess with zoothids though... Also maroon clown in a 20g? I'm not expert and I'm out of the hobby, but you want to minimize nutrients if you want to keep coral.. I didn't and had alot of nusciance algee and stuff:) The attack if it is an attack doesn't look like a snail bite.. watch them eat they eat in circles.... Anyway if you want to find out turn off the lights and check with a flash light if its dark snails and peppermints will begin to feed... Also is your clown hosting it in? if so this may be the cause... Also you have 2 very agressive fish in a 20g tank? I'd be careful of what if anything you put in next. Again 5 years ago when I started out I had no clue wamers won't stear you wrong.

We should have a club reef "help" patrol. That can give advice.. I understand the chemisty and the biology, but not the automation. I need to test more often thats for sure and get rythem down. I'm going to downsize my corals in a few days as I have way too many... Also anyone have experienc with clownfish repairing..... Is it possible to pair my bw with a normal clownfish? as long as their gender compatible and all that....or is it better to sell the widower and get a new pair? Also need advice on biopellets and nutrient control.... got alot of nusciance algee and nothing to eat the algee....also the extracton method leaves something to be desired..... Been using prodibio which is helping... but it messes with my ph. I grow only lps and softies no sps..... How about I invite some of my wamas friends over to have a tank help party.

Any ideas of how to automate it more? I'm also concerned with my ph and saltinity adjustments. I've been using test kits 2 part and a refractometer and salt. I have the stuff to put on a biopellete reactor still working on how to mount it to the tank no sump. My fathers a mechanical engineer though....

The main problem is my commuting leaves my tank in the care of my father, who really doesn't have an intrest he thinks its pretty, but he doesn't know all the biological stuf and he'd rather not learn. Basically he puts in top off, feeds, empties skimmer... So my tank goes for days without me and if I knock off something it dies or if something is sick it I can't save it.... Overall my tank is doing well... Now in the future my faince wants to get a place that will allow me to keep my tank and get out of our parents house ..... Our bigger problem is two fold, My crappy job is in fairfax county, lorton, va. My faince is and will reside in columbia md. I need to either find a job in md thats as lucrative or keep commuting. The commuting from va to md is vicious, but I can't just leave myself jobless and homeless either;) Anyway I'm excited to not leave wamas right at the moment.

So I was out to eat and I get a frantic call from my father saying my female b/w is upside down and breathing heavily. I figured it was a loss. Got home no open signs of parasites or ich or stining. I put some food in the tank and she swam up half well and ate it after about 3 mins she went to the bottem again. Swim bladder issue? I thought she would have died its been 4 days now and I can't take it I'm not going to kill her, but is there any medicated food or something I could try. OR a dip? All of the other fish appear fine. I've been having some water chemistery issues!
