  1. I'll give that a shot.
  2. I called citizen service center and got my question answered. Apply a minute amount of wd40. If that still doesn't work after a day or so, then send it in.
  3. I have a Citizen divers watch that I've worn for at least 7 years now. I guess it's been several years since I last played with the rotating bezel. Now that I got around to doing it, it's takes quite a bit of effort and even with a small screw driver to get it to rotate. Is there anything I can do to losen up whatever that is causing the rotating bezel stuck or do I need to send it to Citizen service center?
  4. It depends on how heavy were the rocks that you placed over them and how deep is your sandbed. If your sandbed is deep enough and if the rocks were light enough, they might be able to burrow their way out from under the rocks without any problem.
  5. I'd imagine that even the standard six be more than capable of handling a heavy load.
  6. Awesome video!!!!! How long does it normally take for the RBTA to heal after you frag it? Can we have this pinned for future reference?
  7. I too have a heck of a time trying to distinguish the color at times and wish there was a better way to do this. According to the Hanna site, their phosphate photometer is accurate to +/-0.04. From what I read so far, it seems that the accuracy problem is with the bad batch of reagents. Even when you have a good batch, you'd need to do multiple test to make sure that the reading you get is accurate.
  8. Rarely have I seen an online store where the owner not only reply back the many questions I had via email, but Mike, the owner, also called me so that he could answer my questions and explained things in better details. Reef Specialty did this without me ordering anything from them first. The prices from them, when factored in the free shipping charge for order over $175, was better than other sites that I visited. Another thing, I placed an order from them on Thursday afternoon and the package arrived on Sat. I couldn't be any happier. I inquired about group buy and he said that he had done several group buys for other marine club around the country. If there is something that we are interested in, we can email him and he'll work with us. Their website is www.reefspecialty.com.
  9. I didn't think about that one. Thanks!
  10. I was pretty good at keeping things up until other things around the house got in the way.
  11. good idea. thanks. looks like i'll be having clams for lunch this weekend. LOL My wife doesn't eat it so it's just me.
  12. I've been neglecting my tank a bit and I'm seeing green hair algae popping up around my tank. I know what I need to do to keep it from coming back. In the meantime, for the existing green hair algae, what's the best way of removing them? Use a pair of forceps and pull them out?
  13. It still doesn't work.
  14. 1 year or less for me. No problem, not even a minor glitch. Early on, I had a problem trying to calibrate the pH probe. Finally took the whole thing to BRK. It turned out that the probe was an ORP probe and not a pH probe and that someone had put the item in the wrong box.
  15. Sandy, Is this the first time this happened? Take a look and make sure that your light is plugged into the correct outlet on the DC8. Then take a look at your programming and make sure that it's set up correctly.
  16. Chris, If I remember it correctly, the instruction on how to do that is in the ACIII controller manual. Unless you have your own private domain IP address, you will not be able to access your ACIII remotely once your ISP provider change your IP address on you.
  17. I bought 2 from the aquarium company at the grand opening. So far, they been hiding under one of my soft corals. The only time I see them move was when there's food in the water. They were supposed to eat my aitapsia. Oh well, back to feeding the aitapsia with kalk.
  18. James, I could be wrong, but shouldn't is say "Max Change 20 M Then FAN OFF"?
  19. Of all the day I left my cell phone behind and my wife didn't forward our home phone like she usually does. Otherwise, I would have gotten that call from Bob and rush home so I can go with him to deliver the tank and stand to your place. I can honestly say I've never seen Bob work so hard. LOL. Can't wait for the tank tour and see the final product in all its glory.
  20. Brad, What this sounds like is that somewhere along the way, you might have added more salt water so over time, the salinity level in the tank rises. If you need to have your refractometer calibrated, I have calibration fluid so I can help you calibrate it.
  21. Johnny, Do you know if the PX 1000 expansion box come with a temp probe or if the temp probe is extra? If it's an extra item, how much would it be if I put my order in with the group buy that fishwife is doing?
  22. You'd definitely need two pH probes.
  23. No, according to Neptunesys website, you can hook up one DC8 and one DC4HD or three DC4HD. If you want more than one DC8, you will need an ACIII.
