  1. That would be the better option to try first. Very good thought.
  2. A blank statement of "the gasket goes on the wet side" is incorrect. The gasket always goes on the flange side, NEVER the nut side. There is no exception to this rule and no gray area either. It is not uncommon, not desirable but not uncommon, to have the gasket on the dry side if you install the bulkhead in a non traditional way. (backwards - from most applications) Are you sure you can't simple give it a little more tighten without breaking it down? Being able to bump the bulkhead allowing it to leak, even slightly, causes me to believe there is.
  3. I've talked to them all and it's only 113 people.
  4. So do I understand you correctly? You want pics of creatures we have taken care of in our tanks so you can show what you can do for them? Does you company actually do the maintenance, walking, caring for, or mostly sub it out to smaller businesses?
  5. I've bought mine from ebay sites for years, A quick look at their ebay store shows that's what they sell.
  6. Are you taking the test water from 3 different areas of the tank?
  7. I add a couple drops of tank water from my finger and then aim towards a light source until I get a clear reading. Don't press the water out from between the glass and the flap when you shut it. The "focus" does not change the reading, just the clarity of the scale.

  14. Funny this topic comes up since I just getting ready to do it. My experience over the years to refresh dry rock to live rock is pretty easy. I'm about to do it with a few pieces of awesome shaped dry Marco rock I just got at Reef eScape. I simply place it in a clean trash can with a power head pointed straight up or as close as possible. Then I add water change water from my existing tank and a piece or two of live rock. I then change that now rock water with water from the tanks water changes until I'm ready or I see that the nitrite level is near zero. This can take several weeks depending on the rock you are cycling. Old rock with debris on it will take longer then fresh clean rock. I'm pretty excited about this dry rock I got at Reef eScape, it's some of the nicest I've seen in the 28 years I've been doing Marine tanks.
  15. Wamas members are always here when you need them.
  16. Either way. My kid did some stuff to our router and IP stuff and in about 2 minutes I can now get the same screen I get on my desktop on my phone over the internet. I can turn lights on/off and even program it if I wanted to, I don't. But it makes me feel good I played outside all the time when I was kid. lol
